    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

^^ absolutely fantastic :lolol: against relegation candidates at home too. An early KO means they can watch the rest catch up too. :lolol:

Thankfully I think they'll give him another season. Levi far too tight to pay another manager compensation straight after Conte.

Wouldn't want him at BHA. Bissouma off.

Does it ever? Most over hyped manager since Bielsa. Surely on borrowed time.

    [Misc] Buddy Holly

A cockney once offered to buy some original, annotated sheet music I had for Holly's backing band: Him: "How much..? £20?" Me: "I was more thinking around £350" Him: "350 notes! That's a bleedin' cricket score!"

[Albion] Value of old Albion shirts

Indeed! :p:giggle:. It's adult size, vgc..apart from three small dried bood spots on one sleeve, so probably involved in a terrace tear up against West Ham circa 1985 :lolol:

[Albion] Value of old Albion shirts

While Superphil's here, and without wanting to hijack the thread, a good few years ago I bought a Spurs 1985-87 season home shirt in a charity shop for a few quid, no sponsor on it, Hummel. A few months back I tried giving it to a Gooner mate as a joke to clean his car but he wasn't interested...

    [TV] Disney+

I disagree, the content on Netflix is 10 times that of D+ and the amount of non-English shows and films on NFlix far outstrips D+ a platform that rarely updates its content in comparison. I ride for free on the coattails of someone who has it but no way would I pay for D+ And the less said...

    [TV] Disney+

^ I've seen better acting at the Peasmarsh Amateur Dramatic Society production of The Duchess of Duke Street. Dismal+ really are stealing people's money. Worst streaming service of the lot imho.

More chance of signing Kyle Chandler from Friday Night Lights. “Blue 32, Blue 32, hut, hut”

[Football] New stadium plans at Birmingham City

I’ve never fully grasped how BCFC are a relatively small-middling club compared to rivals Aston Vanilla in such a populous city. (Admittedly I’ve never really looked into it)

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

The first Talented Mr Ripley film adaptation is 1960's 'Plein Soleil' starring French heartthrob Alain Delon. Not a bad watch. Allegedly the Aussie's tried to do their own remake in 1982, called 'The Talented Mr Ah Ripper Mate' starring Paul Hogan as Marge and Dame Edna Everage as Tom.

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

Ha. :) Talking of music, Johnny Flynn, who plays Dickie in Ripley, wrote and sung the theme tune to The Detectorists, as you're probably aware, and is sometimes in a band with his sister, The Sussex Wit. Excellent vocalist/musician, his sister too.

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

Exactly TC, definitely an 'inside job' that bit of casting Dakota Fanning is excellent in it.

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

^ I’ve gone back to it, Moutarde, and 5 episodes in I have to say it’s won me over and well worth anyone’s time. Freddie Miles was very bizarre left-field casting, it’s actually Sting’s daughter who plays him, someone who now identifies as non-binary, while Freddie is supposed to be this alpha...
