Burnley splashed the cash in the summer to the tune of around £110m. Their squad has had a huge overhaul since promotion, and at the moment its difficult to see the benefit of it. They are bang in trouble, and unless they pick up soon, Kompany could be a dead man walking come the next...
I remember when level was considered onside, and you were supposed to give the benefit of the doubt to the attacker.
Well, VAR has proper shat all over that, hasn't it.
Next time I walk past someone curled up in a shop doorway, I'm going to jab a finger in their FACE and say "lifestyle choice, you dirty FOREIGNER"
That'll show em'. Right, Sue ?
I've not read this thread, but the only time we FINALLY started causing problems was in the 2nd half, when Mitoma actually started taking them on and going for the byline, instead of just cutting back and laying off a feeble pass (often intercepted). When he commits to beating the fullback he is...
They drew the line from Dunks arm to make the decision. Within the rules, they're not supposed to do that.
Its another Estupinan. We've been shafted - again.
The world was revolted by the actions of Hamas on October 7th.
But I am now equally disgusted at the response from Israel. This is not targeted. It is genocide.
I was not the author of Wankpuffins.
I did, however, introduce the phrase "swivel-eyed gravity whore" to these pages (SEGW).
I also once described someone on the BBS Palace away end as a "catastrophic felching COCKSPANGLE", which was reported. I'm not allowed on there any more.
The Adur binmen collected my rubbish as normal. I heard the lorry as I laid in bed.
I guess the conditions over in B&H must have been much, much worse this morning for their binmen. Can't be too careful can you.
Its already kicking off in BN41. Wheeliebin day tomorrow, and mine has clearly been spun around 45° (although thankfully is still upright).
Looking forward to a nice lay-in tomorrow, being as this is obviously going to be a WFH day. This may, or may not, also involve a 2 hour lunch.
And now the club have suspended all of the Green Brigade's season tickets until further notice

Just had to push it, didn't they.
Idiot here, reporting for duty.
I tried 3 charity shops in Southwick a few years ago with a boxful of old DVDs. None of them would take them. So frankly, I'm not "wrong".
I'm not advocating binning them though. Maybe wind it in a bit eh.
I don't think many of the residents in care homes are overly tech-orientated tbh. If there's a TV in the corner, its just easier for them or one of the staff to bung a DVD in the player for them, I'd have thought.
Just watched a shattering Panorama programme tonight which I'd recorded a few days ago, showing a young Palestinian family (man, wife, two toddlers) cowering in their flat in southern Gaza as the airstrikes hammered down all around them. The curtains at their windows were visibly billowing at...
As you say, most charity shops won't take them these days, they're worthless and take up loads of space.
If you're not actually looking to profit from them in some way (because you won't really), then my suggestion would be to drop them off at a care home. Those poor old duffers stuck in front...
I never use Dicks because I can't really be arsed with the queue (it still baffles me when you see a queue of people waiting to get in at 2.30 when its a 3pm kickoff - whats the point of that ?). I've not seen anything to suggest that the concourses are closing for business at the final whistle...
Name me another site that had a train station within a goal-kicks distance.
Its not the clubs fault that SASTA has crumbled to shit, post-covid in particular.
