If you read the post, it's not defending (he actively says he is against it) but clarifying a few points which were made earlier in the thread. Frankly, I don't want to get into an argument and further derail this thread. It was started by a Charlton fan thanking us for our support yesterday and...
In fairness you've been hijacking these threads all week and this one is to thank us for our support yesterday from a Charlton fan. Whether you're opinion is right or wrong, shouting your view in a thread like this is trolling.
Did you actually read the post you quoted? He said that Standard Liege won their league and still protested. Clubs like us and Charlton have been relegated enough over the years that you don't get situations like yesterday from relegation. I am genuinely stunned by the reaction of a small...
What a signing Skalak is becoming. Brilliant finish for the second goal yesterday and another great free kick to setup the first. He looks so confident now when you compare him to the player who started at Cardiff and looked a bit lost. What a January we had with signing him and Knockaert.
To any Charlton fan, this is the view of a very small minority of Brighton fans. Why they need to ruin a thread thanking us for our support yesterday with posts like this is beyond me.
As others have said, it is really not that difficult to grasp. Charlton management were involved in that. They put the ads up. Today was about Charlton fans who had no involvement in it whatsoever. Why ruin this thread with pathetic comments like this.
As I said earlier in the thread, I think there is nobody saying that now. They arguably had a point when he first joined, as long as you completely ignored that he had just moved to this country and had only started one or two games.
For what it's worth, I think Skalak is going to be an amazing...
And Zamora is not on that list too. Surely his seven goals deserve a mention (as do Skalak's recent run in my view). The recruitment team have had an amazing season.
I think that was before his recent run. I don't think anyone could legitimately call him a flop now even if there are still a few concerns over his contribution from open play (concerns which I am sure will be sorted over the summer).
As for Rosenior, completely agree that's he has been great...
Absolutely not. It wouldn't be a great day out at Wembley as we'd be so nervous for most of it. Would be amazing if we won but even then you have a disadvantage against the teams promoted automatically. Keep Wembley for the FA Cup Semi Finals and Final next season!
Highly doubt this is true. He might be on a list if we don't go up as he guarantees goals at this level and would give us a very good chance of promotion. However, we won't pay £15 million.
If we go up, I find it very hard to believe we'd be looking at a 30 year old with no Premier League...
Do you spend all your time searching all situations for possible negatives. I notice you've not mentioned Hughton's mistake in not bringing an extra striker in recently. Obviously too busy worrying about this instead.
In fairness, while the fans were obviously optimistic, there was clearly a lot going on at the club that weren't aware of. With Hughton in charge, none of that will happen. It will just be calm and professional behind the scenes.
There was also the issue about plan B with Poyet's Championship...
He's done an amazing job. The work done by him and the recruitment team has been amazing. They've turned round a disastrous summer of signings and then a very poor season to put together by far the best team I have seen in 25 years of watching Albion. I thought we'd improve this season, with...
It's funny how many people said I told you Brighton would fall away in mid January (fans of other teams and pundits). Not hearing much from them now, are we?
