    Simon Cox released by Reading

I think that too. We seem to do that for strikers as they are so expensive over here. Hopefully will happen again. I completely trust the recruitment team after the players we have brought in this season.

    Five to Keep

Honest answer is I'm trying not to think about other clubs wanting our players. To be honest, given his rash play sometimes, Dunk is probably the one I would disagree with and centre halves are easier to replace (not that I want him to go). I think I'd replace Dunk with Knockaert from the above...

    Simon Cox released by Reading

Exactly. He was released by Reading so they dismissed him too.

What was THE season-defining moment ?

Surely season defining moment was Stephens at Middlesbrough or their goal last night. We got through all the other season defining moment (if you're going to say Bolton away etc, then surely any game where we dropped points counts as season defining) and were in a position to really push in the...

    20+ goals a season striker?

I think we'll probably look abroad, probably for a player or two we've never heard about, to add strikers.

Hughton wins Championship boss of the year award

Totally agree. For a man who played really boring football according to Norwich fans, he has given us an incredible season. The quality he, Winstanley, Bloom and the scouting team have brought in is amazing e.g. Kayal, Knockaert, Skalak, Murphy, Hemed, Goldson, Rosenior, Bong etc. If they can...

    Simon Cox released by Reading

We should not even consider Simon Cox. Firstly, he has been released by Reading. Secondly, he is rubbish. Can't believe you would berate Baldock like you do and then suggest Simon Cox. I assume you're joking.

Sky highlights in 4 mins - what a performance , so proud

Agree re top scorers but with the number of chances we created this season, especially early on in the year, it should have been more. Very proud of last night too. We were amazing. Can't believe it didn't lead us to Wembley but what a season after the dire season we had last year.

Hughton wins Championship boss of the year award

Well deserved. He's hardly criticised a referee all season and been very fair and honest. Shame the luck (and referees) has really turned against us in recent crucial games but confident he can build on this season and get us promoted!

    Carvalhal got it right

Apparently, Sky said it was a foul although I watched highlights with no volume. Think we have genuine reason to feel we've not had the luck/decisions go for us recently with Stephens' red card, the injuries at Hillsborough and Wednesday's goal last night. I have no issue with the play offs. We...

Sky highlights in 4 mins - what a performance , so proud

The big thing you think looking at that is if we keep that team together and add a couple of quality strikers to compete with Hemed for first choice, what a team we will have!

    Carvalhal got it right

You could see it clearly on the replay at the ground last night and, if you watch the highlights, it is a blatant foul by Hooper on Dunk as he looks to head the ball away.

Sky highlights in 4 mins - what a performance , so proud

And yet it is so obvious in the replay. How long do we have to wait for video referees. It would have taken thirty seconds (less time than Wednesday spent celebrating) for another official to get that right. I'm still confused how both the referee and the linesman managed to miss it and it...

    Respect From The North

Classic opposing fans having different views. I thought Forrestieri spent much of last night diving and your players were committing numerous cynical fouls all night. How Westwood wasn't booked for time wasting from the first minute is beyond me and your number 20 (Lee?) committed a number of...

    Carvalhal got it right

Sorry, so are you saying we should have rested our entire first XI at Middlesbrough? It was hardly rocket science for him to rest players at Wolves. How you can say someone got it right when they had a lead based on the opponents losing four players to injury and then were struggling in the...

    Players to sell / release

Of the out of contract players, I think Ankergren, Calde, Chicksen, Crofts and Zamora will go. Greer might get another year if he's happy to be back up. Thought he did okay coming back into the side the last couple of games. Rea will depend how impressed we were with his loan spell but might...

    Steve Sidwell

Agree completely. Thought we were superb last night, especially the first half, and could have been 3 up at half time. Just seen a replay again of Wednesday's goal and I can't believe the referee and linesman both missed such a blatant push from Hooper. That is what cost us in the end although...

    Steve Sidwell

Would definitely like to keep Sidwell. Has been great in the last few games. We may well also lose a bit of experience this summer with Ankergren, Calderon, Greer, Crofts and Zamora all quite possibly leaving so a player like Sidwell would help to fill that void. Really hope we can agree a deal...

So which forward do we want to buy?

We definitely need to strengthen the strikeforce. As we're losing Zamora and Wilson, I imagine we'll keep hold of Baldock (and obviously Hemed). I hope we'll then try to sign a quick striker and a hold up player so we can vary the strike pairing depending on who we're playing. I'd be surprised...

    Poor old Nigel Adkins

No sympathy for Adkins but do wonder about Sheffield United. They've been in that division a while now (did they go down the year we went up) and seem to go through a lot of managers, which if anything is taking them further away from promotion. Wonder who they will appoint next.
