    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Don’t know how true this is not what it means, but (assuming this is legit), it could be interesting for Putin. https://twitter.com/raging545/status/1568650758891110405?s=21&t=BofQNwCoZNMozeC8c2YcCw

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Reports of fighting at Donetsk airport. Seems like the Ukrainian advance has been amazingly fast. Wonder whether this could all fall apart really fast for Putin. If they lose, he’ll be out.

    [Football] Graham Potter - ruthless

My sentiments too. I enjoy a lot of his posts - I think he's less knee-jerk than a lot of people and brings a lot to NSC. I very much hope he stays post GP. There are many other posters I'd be happy not to see post rather than Swansman.

    [Football] Graham Potter - ruthless

In reality, we don't know if Bruno has had discussions with TB and both felt it would be beneficial for Bruno to carry on developing his skills under GP. Also, if the new coach (who supposedly is already lined up) wants to bring in his own team, that could have made Brunos position more...

    [Albion] Next Brighton manager

I fancy Knutsen from the very little I know of him.

[Albion] So, what’s your Albion mojo?

At least Potter knows how much Caicedos boots will cost. It’s a start for negotiations if it happens.

[Albion] So, what’s your Albion mojo?

As they say, “what happens in Sweden, stays in Sweden”

[Albion] Has he turned them down yet?

Must admit I was cautiously optimistic that he would stay and see what he could achieve here. However, that’s probably more wishful thinking than anything else. I guess money talks and the ability to test yourself at a higher level will be very tempting. I do have confidence that TB will have a...

    [Football] Tuchel gone

Potter knows he’s respected/admired but the fans and the club here. He has great support and appears to be a loyal person. However, he will have ambitions to prove himself at the highest level he can do. The question will be if he feels that Chelsea is a good fit for him (assuming they do make...

[Albion] Are we as good as I think we are?

[Albion] Are we as good as I think we are?

Maybe if you read the whole thread you’d realise how stupid your post is. My post was BEFORE their recent signing and based on a comparison to big signings from he limes and Man C, Man U, Chelsea. I never said they’d not designed players, but paying £13m for Burn does not equate to £63 for...

[Albion] Pervis Estupiñán - SIGNED - 5 YEAR CONTRACT

We paid £15m for Cucu We paid about £15m for Pervis. Sold Cucu for about £63m inc add-one, so I said roughly £30m. Based on the fact that the club don’t announce figures.

[Albion] So, what’s your Albion mojo?

Probably 8/10. I just look at October fixtures coming up and we have a run of tough games. The football is amazing, and the squad are clearly very united. I am trying to keep my feet on the ground as whenever I get excited, things seem to turn to shit.

[Albion] Pervis Estupiñán - SIGNED - 5 YEAR CONTRACT

If he proves to be 80% of the player that Cucu was, then he'd be a great signing. However, I agree, from what I've seen so far there is enough optimism to suggest that he has the potential to be as good or better then Cucu. Time will tell, but more astounding business from the club.

[Albion] Pervis Estupiñán - SIGNED - 5 YEAR CONTRACT

Made a couple of mistakes, but I'm sure GP will work with him to improve that. I am very pleased with his signing and if you combine the business of him and Cucu we're about £30m up and have him as a player. What's not to like - the club are proving very adept at their planning/dealings IMO.

[Albion] Solly March, local lad and Premier League star, is f***ing brilliant

What's the point of being on here? I have 2 posters on my ignore list from about 20 years of being on here. Let me guess - you like you "safe spaces" where you can't hear people that you don't agree with. Some of those people on that list are IMO reasonable posters. I think this says more...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leeds United *** Official Match Thread ***

The BBC player ratings has most of the Leeds players scoring higher than Brighton, yet they still lost. I guess it goes to prove that quoting the BBC stats is pointless. No-one could possibly say it was a lucky win against the run of play, so just goes to show how useful these type of 'fans'...

We have a few fixtures coming up where we would be hoping to get points Fulham A Leicester H Bournemouth A Palace H Be nice to still be in top 4 at the end of those games. October is tricky though.
