We've signed 2 already. Take out Ince, Towell, Manu, Lua Lua, and arguably Norwood and Goldson possibly too as has been hinted.
That would leave us with 19 players (including Maenpaa), within a 25 man squad.
You really think we won't sign 5 or 6 more?
We will sign 6 players by the end of August. But there will also be others who step up better than expected so there's no need for all this panic. That's my point. It's still June and the majority of transfers these days work on one player triggering a number of other deals to fall into place...
Sam Vokes, Scott Arfield, Ashley Barnes etc.
All players I imagine Burnley fans this time last year were thinking would need to be replaced or upgraded. Arguably 3 of their best players last season.
We do need to strengthen, but we will find the same thing next season whereby some players will...
Exactly.
They could either of used it to create homes for local people, or created something like Gunwharf whereby there is huge potential for a constant revenue stream from tourists/visitors.
Instead they built some flats and flogged them to the Middle East.
Gunwharf is just a shopping centre. But a shopping centre that attracts huge numbers of people every single week.
I'd imagine that 95% (if not more) of people visiting the Marina are locals who want to go for lunch/cinema without paying for parking. There's nothing wrong with that, but it could...
But that's my point, it could all of been different.
Gunwharfs restaurant offerings are as bad (if not worse) than the Marina, but it's shopping facilities are so superior that it attracts FAR more visitors. There are queues in and out every single weekend.
It's a shame that something like the...
But it's always compared to Gunwharf, which is FAR superior. It may well be 'busy', but i've never ever seen it anything like as popular as Gunwharf on a weekend.
People travel from all over to visit the shopping outlets - many international groups staying in Brighton spend a day down there...
Meanwhile Huddersfield splash £12m on a striker from Ligue 1, who looks to be a very good signing for them.
If we could afford Pritchard last year, I'm sure we will have one or two big signings.
Kind of agree.
But then on the other hand, you question who would leak that kind of information if it were true.
I think we're going to get quite used to agents being tw*ts (even more so than previously) this season now we've made the step up.
See the way i'd see it is that he wants first team football, and the club would know that.
Barber et al are no mugs, I doubt they'd offer such a hefty increase on someone who was keen on the move. Just my opinion like, what do I know.
I agree some of our fans are being absolute c*nts.
But good lord he's all a bit amateur on twitter isn't he, all a bit embarrassing.
If he does go to Leeds, 99% of their fans are absolute thunderc*nts on twitter, and it definitely won't take very long for him to upset them if he starts...
