The one position we needed most (arguably 2), was a striker. The fact we are now down to the idea that we 'could' sign one, with hours left, is an absolute joke.

Not rewriting anything, they are facts. He scored 17 in his first season, and 13 last season (15 including the cup) despite only playing 33 games. Before that he scored 8 and 11 goals in La Liga. All facts, regardless of whether or not people moan about him, he's a good championship striker.

A player who in both seasons with us, has averaged just short of 1 in 2. He's good for 15-20 goals a season, and clubs are desperate for those players. If you think he's worth £2m or less, thank god you are nowhere near our decision makers.

Absolutely. But what on earth do the club do? They have allocated tickets as fairly as possible. Someone who wants to just go to a few local games will not be able to buy a ticket until those who do a far wider range of games have decided on whether they want to go or not. As fair as it can be.

Well judging from the tickets he's after, he wants relatively local games. The people who got tickets have the most loyalty points. I don't understand how the club could allocate them more fairly.

Either that or it would've been empty. I know a number of others who have done the same, as they dont want to spend their holiday waiting for the ticket exchange. At least someone (a proper fan) gets to enjoy the game who otherwise wouldn't.
