It's actually Wal*mart. One 'L' and one '*' - but that's just being pendantic!!
They're quite good at making profits - when Sam Walton (founder) died they had displays of his autobiography in stores as a 'Special Offer' at 50% more expensive.
Anyone who knows me will agree that I am niave & sometimes stupid in certain matters so I don't understand why can't this appear on the official club site?
If it's a statement from the club where will it appear?
If it appears in the press and on the telly as an official statement then surely it...
The one man isn't worried about his profits or public image due to a well co-ordinated campaign but a big corporation like Wal*mart would be.
The one man would be worried about the lads coming round - Wal*mart wouldn't be.
Brighton supporters don't send the lads around but they do organise...
I think that the dog has probably "had its' day".
Fanzines are always going to be out of date. It's practically impossible to sell all of an issue at one game so it would span two or three games. Normal communication is so immediate these days that trying to cover topical issues is also...
How will that work with having to assess the amount of Park & Ride buses that will be required?
Too many and money is wasted. Too few, when 2,000 more than expected turn up, and we'll all be whinging.
As a relative newcomer to NSC (lurked, dipped in and out for a while but not really posted anything until about 10 days ago) I've 'felt' that I've been welcomed. I have started a couple of threads, asked a couple of questions and got some good responses - one chap even took the time and trouble...
I think that you may have got confused with the Wimbledon game on Boxing Day. I wasn't there for that game as we had a game but I understand it happened. Tuesday night I didn't hear it - the last 10 minutes was full hearted support for RFC as they scored 6 minutes from the end of normal time...

It's good to see your "we need away seats" response to the Falmer question. Shows your faith in our ability to get promoted cos I am sure that you're not suggesting that URs will be coming down - are you?
Agree with your sentiment but that way we wouldn't get loan players that were any good. Managers don't let players go out on loan as cover they let them go to sharpen them up with first team football.
Any loan player happy to come as a reserve would be rubbish.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Its all starting to go horribly wrong for Reading !.
Not as bad as some of them - but you'll note that I carefully said l was proven right again last night only about Sidwell.
I don't think Ivan was that bad - both goals were down to individual mistakes, the first by...
There certainly was amongst the Reading fans. Sparodic booing at half time and I reckon that 10%+ had left by the time Reading scored their goal (6 mins from the end).
Re: Re: Re: Its all starting to go horribly wrong for Reading !.
I did. I also told them that Sidwell and Ingermarsson were good players and I was proven right about Siddy again last night.
Reading weren't very good last night. Didn't have any of the structure and organisation that SC bought to the Albion in the immediate post Hinshelwood days.
Reading supporters are getting fed up with SCs apparent lack of involvement - just standing in the dugout with his arms folded.
Michael...
