Albion vs Darlington 3rd December 1996 Roll Call.

It was the lowest of many low points. Darlo were, surely, the only team we could beat?......No, we were the worst.

    Paul Whelch RIP

    Very sad. RIP Paul.

    The fans tonight

I know I wasn't the only one who, not paying full attention, heard the roar and thought we had conceded but it was the cheer for our 2nd goal.

A few things from last night

I still don't understand our tactics defending corners/free kicks, when we bring everybody back. Teams then can push all up and, when the ball is cleared, it'll just come back at us. Why not leave the smallest/quickest players up on the halfway line/ Put one out toward each wing and the...

    Paul barber

Are Spurs using Wenbley next season? If so they we may all have the chance to go.

Points in the bag over games in hand

And every time we win helps to did-hearten the chasing pack. Games begin to run out.

Points in the bag over games in hand

Even the best teams can suffer mental & physical exhaustion. The knocks don't get time to heal & bookings may pile up. I think our recent 'dip' has come from that mental exhaustion but we've come through that intact.

    Huddersfield

Just like we rested so many v Lincoln and it didn't affect our form.......

    How moist is your bed?

Well, if you didn't spill it your bed wouldn't be wet!

Joey Barton - the most pathetic 'hard man' ever?

Perhaps if he had just tried to play football they may have won. He becomes a distraction, has a negative effect on his own side and provokes the opposition to try harder. Just how many of us, who weren't really bothered, were rooting for Lincoln at the end because of Barton?

    Hello again....the Ipswich view

Always a worry when a team has loads of injuries. We've come unstuck before so let's get the job done.

Is it too early to start thinking we're going up?

Newcastle seem more brittle than us, more prone to the unexpected defeat and supporters who are used to failure & tend to panic when things go badly. We just need to keep our nerve, aim to be top & keep up with Newcastle. Every win we have will dishearten the chasing pack, the cannot close the...

Fans United - 20 Years On...

It was based along the lines of a popular Beneton advert. Shirt was white but the letters were on different coloured 'blocks'. That's as best as I can remember. Pretty sure I still have the Fans United badge and will wear it tomorrow.

Fans United - 20 Years On...

He was a Brighton based Chelsea fan & used to watch Albion a lot during the late 70's. Drank in the Bo'sun, sort of guy who was always up to mischief but very likeable.

    Goldstone Memories - 1975/76

A nod to those who have commented before. I worked in East Croydon so did not miss our early winner and work was great the next day. The home Palace game had over 30,000 for a night game and their smoke bombs. Very hostile atmosphere. Home games were great, some already mentioned and there was...

Season Ticket Renewals and Pricing for 2017/18

The season ticket, paid over 12 months, is the only way to go. If I had to pay 'on the gate' I'd never be able to afford it.

Hughton's biggest test since being at the Albion?

I imagine he might sacrifice a little flair for more grit in midfield tomorrow.

O/T: Petition to Protect Our Prison Officers

Must be an awful job, always seems the threat of danger inside & even when you go home from possible threats from contacts of inmates. Need all the help they can get.
