Those crowds show how low football had become and our crowds were typical of many in the league. Watching the Albion away was a chore, we'd often let in a goal at about 70 mins and might as well go home as never a chance of us scoring.
BUT....having said that, we had some fantastic away wins. I...
Agree, all good dramas mentioned above but not Relik. As I tend to nod off every few mins, I had no chance of following this so have cancelled my series link.
You did miss something earlier in the thread, it may have come from a teacher. It goes along the line that the skirt is of the required length when girl leaves home but is then shortened in a way girls know how, I think it's by rolling over from the top.
Must admit that some of the skirts worn by youngsters on my bus are enough to make me blush.
I love a bit of leg but this is just wrong with the age of these kids. Trousers seem a sensible choice.
The noisy minority writing us off so early in the season. Is this what the players & management of the club need?
I don't remember this throwing in of the towel back in the late 1990's In 1997 we had statistically the worse team in the Albion's history but the fans got behind the players and...
We had some lower gates at The Goldstone, I think the Darlington game, where Bellotti was chased away, was under 4k and we had some very low gates for midweek games at Gillingham, but's that's hardly a fair comparison.
Why do we have to explain this every year? Agents & players are angling for the best deal. They are happy to start rumours and create competition and take the best deal. Once clubs have brought in their expensive new players, certain players eventually realise that their options are closing...
Regular stewards help and there's always some light-hearted banter with the stewards at the gate I use and it's also an advantage that they get to know regular faces.
And people on here don't help when they bleat on about the lack of activity and jump on every rumour. let the club do it's business and, whilst they may buy the off 'dud', most of the signings in the last couple of years have turned out pretty good.
People each having to ring the bells on buses when getting off. Seems to happen most on student buses. The bus is only going to stop once, often there is a 'bus stopping' light for those with headphones and yet people still ring the bell even as the bus is slowing down for the stop.
I love the fact we play this at the end of games. It's very apt and we should never forget, and celebrate, just how far we have come.
I don't know if the club are forgetting because this has sometimes been overlooked now or, as last night, they play a manic, fast, version. I'm all for adding a...
The new signings do need time and it would probably be better to ease them in with somebody like Sidwell as a partner. They will come good, as long as they are not destroyed by the critics who already seem to have it in for Gross, Propper & Ryan.
A couple of seasons ago we played at a slow pace...
Had to smile when Jim White mentioned famous Dutchmen who came to play in England and enhanced their careers. I Thought he might mention Holla & Elvis, not to mention Farrington played Dutch football too!!!
Hopefully our Dutch legend, the FDM, will be roped in to look after him and make him...
