Indifferent...but that doesn't mean to say that I wouldn't like to see the Albion in a league above them...mind you, I just remembered the "fixed" game they played with Spurs to delay our arrival in Division One, perhaps I have mellowed with time!
Does lots of good work in support of our Armed Forces...maybe not quite in the Jo Lumley league, yet...but that makes him cool in my mind.
Not a fan of his music though.
I was bored and counted up how many of the 80 clubs in that first round draw I had seen play...reckon it is 56, if I can count the current teams of Hartlepool and Bournemouth in their previous forms...can anyone beat that?
OK, some time after my previous shot I had another go:
Economic Left/Right: -4.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.97
...which puts me somewhere between Mandela and the Dalai Lama...not a bad place to find yourself!
I did the same test a couple of years ago, can't remember the exact figures but I was definitely a left wing libertarian...almost identical to Ken Livingston.
I would never say that I hate a sport, there are plenty I have tried and a fair few that I haven't...that goes for playing and watching. However, there are still a few that have absolutely no interest for me whatsoever, they are golf, rugby (either code), snooker and motor-bike racing...if any...
FCUK...or whatever they are called, might take 3,500 to Rochdale on a Friday night but there is no way I can see them bringing anywhere near that number to Brighton...so all this talk about giving them vast chunks of the ground are probably irrellevant...let them have the Hove end and be done.
...some of my ancestors were called Ruff...not far from ruffian...and they were from Amberley...which last time I looked was in deepest darkest West Sussex, nowhere near France!
Also agree totally with this view. If we turned the clock back 30 years the subject would be having black players in football, that is now largely history, hopefully this can be knocked on the head too. I guess it just boils down to small minded bigots...they will always find someone to vilify.
All the power in the building going off when the band started playing, then seeing them trying to work out how much they could have plugged in to avoid it happening again...Clash City Rockers, Henfield village hall.
It is certainly a very good pint and may be enjoyed in the Caley Sample Room not far from Tynecastle...along with Caledonian 80 shillings and several other drinkable offerings from Scottish breweries.
If you want a good pint in town then check out Bert's Bar in William Street, if it is still...
Very true...a few years ago they managed to have two funerals running concurrently in one show, one for Tommy and the other for Sean's dog...pure genius!
Sunderland away for me, in the league, probably 85/86 season...it was a Saturday game at Roker Park and there were just over 40 in the away end, me and two others in one of the home stands. I was wearing my colours and nobody seemed to care one bit, was with a Sunderland fan though...on leaving...
That letter is hilariously bad.
Back to the title of the thread...My brother and I got into a couple of games for free, including the Man City FA Cup game, because our mum was on duty with St John's Ambulance...only drawback was getting there an hour and a half before kick-off.
