I think someone should send this thread to Mr Butters!
Solid player, playing very well. Our defensive record is second to none in the division sinc he's ben in the team - even Middelsbrough had severe trouble breaking us down.
Guy is here to stay! He could still work on his distribution a bit...
The idea is to give him first team experience. Chelsea have done the same with Smertin, loaning hm stright to Portsmouth.
Crawley are picking up his wages whilst he's there. He's unproven in the football league and needs to set the world alight whilst he's at Crwaley if he's going to get a...

I'm looking forward to Watson getting back. He's played a lot of games for this club and think he...
7 of yesterday's first team were from the Micky Adams era, and are the reason we're top of division 2. He took us from 3rd division obscurity and built a team that went all the way to the first division and if he had still be manager we would have staye there.
MA - A living legend!
:clap2:
He's working on a non-contract basis - his choice, for this kind of eventuality. Oldham would have no choice. Dowie even came out in public and said he wanted the West Ham job!
His performance in very difficult circumstances has been outstanding this season! He is one of the best young managers...
The decision to pay Blackwell for the season was taken before he had his injury! It's just one of those things in football. Coppell has shown what a loyal man he is by sticking by these players. Lets hope he shows the same loyalty to the club!
This came from a different source - and i don't know the reliability. A friend of mine whose father is appearently friends with DK. Can't vouch for it - but hey, where else you gunna post rumours?! :)
It was said in confidence i'm afraid. I don't want to mention him as i might jeopardise future info. I only ran into him for the first time in years yesterday and so went for a drink. Going to be seeing him again soon. However, he is a regular in our starting line up.
Madjeski is running Reading like a business and doing very well out of it - they are very close to actuially running a profit. Think of all those clubs that have thrown money away and are now in Administration. Like Dick Knight at Brighton he is doing the right thing - only on a bigger scale!
Very true! We've hardly suffered at Withdean - it has been a real fortress. It's just the club can't grow on such small crowds!
You can't blame Coppell for speaking to Reading tho. Even if you are happy where you are you still owe it to yourself to know what else is on the table - if only for...
He is clearly good enough for the Prem. He's into the England U21 and has been storming it in the 1st div this year. Shame we didn't make efforts to sign him a bit sooner:
1. We would have stayed up.
2. We could have made a quick, easy and tidy profit should Mr Knight have wanted to sell him!
