Racon, richards and westlake were all loans, which I pre-mentioned were good..but its permanant signings we need...we need stability not losing a player after 8 weeks due to him being recalled.
Forster, whing and murray are decent players..but when you have someone in charge who is not...
Does anyone else feel that Adams will be able to attract a higher quality of player?
If you look at all the decent players being released by championship clubs that we usually end up missing out, I feel with the messiah back then it will defo be easier to get them in.
No disrespect to Wilkins...
It is a bold move, but knights move is no different to what he did to Mcghee, we wernt struggling when he was sacked and after the success he brought appointing a youth boss was a risk.
Adams will have targets and with a little money and a good squad of players I dont doubt adams ability
Wilkins did ok.....there was good times and some down right awful times/performances, But I stick by what I always have said...he's not the man to take us forward and it wouldnt have been fair for us to scrape a play-off place next season and to get sacked if we got to the championship.
Adams...
Im over the moon Micky is back, gates will improve...players respect him, fans love him and what he acheived here before puts him in albion legend territory.
Wilkins was never taken to by the fans..the gates said that all over. He may have scrapped us a playoff spot..but Knight wants more....and...

I think his post match comments are quality...the media treat most people like scum and he makes a mockery out of them..he's class.
How can you be glad he failed.....if he was palace then or a rival manager.??
No it isnt a sick joke!
He did a great job at plymouth...no-one can deny that..they loved him down there and it wasnt because he gives a good post match interview.
He had a small budget and turned them into playoff contenders....and that is wha I call a good job.
He has more...
Joining a sinking ship is never a good idea.
I think Holloway is a very good manager & would love him at the albion personally, but leaving plymouth to go to leicester has defo proved a wrong move.
If he goes....then that for me would be the right thing for all parties. Because the relegation...
Thanks.
So there is the possibility of it happening aslong as its local to nottinghamshire....
Maybe taking mansfield back into the league would be a nice challenge mr clough?
I was just on the BBC website and came across that Burton Albion lost lastnight to cambridge who go through to the conference final against Exeter.
Clough has been there for years and took them up to the conference and by all means has done a real good job at Burton. He has been linked to lots...
Not really.
The fans turned on henderson and rightly so, he had potential but overall was pants imho.
Hammond wasnt shown the door, he wanted to leave. If he had wanted to stay he would still be an albion player guarenteed.
Revell was a good bit of business & his replacement is better,granted...
What has gone on behind the scenes is for us all to guess, but there certainly isnt any smoke without fire.
The timing of the outburst seems like sour grapes, but he isnt the first player to have slated wilkins man management skills and lack of communication with players....as far as we know he...
