Carpenter, Hart, Butters, Mayo and Reid would have probably gone under McGhee aswell.

Santos was only a short-term signing to cover for injuries, so would of gone under McGhee,

The other three may still be here, but they wanted to move on to "bigger clubs" or recieve more money every week.

No, it's not a coincidence, you see McGhee used to be our manager, but now he's not, Wilkins is.

Henderson wanted to go and the fact he has hardly played this season due to back problems means it was a good move.

Revell, Southends offer was too good to turn down and he was replaced with a better option in Murray.

Hammond, well we would have lost him for nothing now, so in the end a good move, although Wilkins and the board do have to take some critcism for letting the whole thing drag on, when 18 months ago it was obvious we should be looking to get him on a new deal. Worryingly the same could be about to happen with El-Abd.

Carpenter, legs had gone, although seemingly him and Wilkins did not see eye to eye.

Hart, all good things come to an end, thanks for the service, but in reality never the same player after the leg break, a yard of pace went.

Butters, again thanks for the service. I guess age counted against him, whether he will be replaced with anything better will be seen.

Mayo, at Christmas I would have said this was the correct decision, but was impressed with him when he was in the team whilst Richards was out, both attitude and his performances got better. The fact he can also play in the middle of defence and at a push stand in the centre of midfield means that maybe he did have something to offer, but it was not to be.

Reid, find this one odd, a decent midfielder, good cover at right back. Injuries have been an issue, but surely he is a better option than Loft and Fogden.

Santos was just rubbish, panic signing by a manager who had run out of ideas and could not attract players (McGhee).

Bit bored today, so probably not the reply you wanted, but ho hum.

Not really.

The fans turned on henderson and rightly so, he had potential but overall was pants imho.

Hammond wasnt shown the door, he wanted to leave. If he had wanted to stay he would still be an albion player guarenteed.

Revell was a good bit of business & his replacement is better, granted he takes 7 chances to score but he is better.

As for the rest of them whoever was in charge would have got rid of at least 3 of the four........for me the exception being maybe hart as he was a good cover at right back this season....and mayo could do a job as bench warming.

If wilkins could get us up via the playoffs and keep us up like mcghee did..id be very impressed.

Exactly, what the f*** is all this bollocks meant to mean? Would we be any better with that lot in our team? Personally, I don't think so (with the possible exceptions of Henderson and Hammond, who forced their way out of the club).

McGhee has 6 letters in his name.
Wilkins has 7, 1 more than McGhee.

Coincidence?

Elder and Rents are the exceptions to the rule - Wilkins players, shown the door by Wilkins.
