I'm sure it's been covered several times in this thread already but I'm currently reading The Nowhere Men - Michael Calvin, which is a book about football scouts. Pretty interesting and quite a few Brighton mentions - Barry Lloyd talking about Tony Bloom as a Chairman and how we signed Liam...
The first thing I said, at the end of the film, was how I much I wanted to buy a cuddly Baymax toy....and I'm 27! So I can definitely imagine kids going crazy for it too.
I've just read this interview with Jay, so many more inconsistencies! How can his version of that night change so many times?! https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/12/29/exclusive-interview-jay-wilds-star-witness-adnan-syed-serial-case-pt-1/
Also, Adnan has won the right to appeal! Hooray.
I don't feel overly safe if I'm walking around by myself late at night, there just seem to be too many stories lately of assaults on women. So after 10pm ish I'll usually get a bus or cab home, instead of walking anywhere.
However, if I'm with friends then I feel completely fine.
I played Mario Kart 64 in The Globe last night....I forgot how good it was! Although it turns me into an absolute monster - I become horribly competitive, smug, rude and pretty darn mean.
Cool, thanks! I've ordered it, so I'll let you know how I get on.
As for Battlefield, I haven't played much of the previous ones but I'm a sucker for anything cops and robbers related, so Hardline looks like it's going to be perfect for me.
This thread as inspired me to dig my PS3 out tonight - I haven't played it for well over a year. To celebrate this, I'm going to buy a new game but I can't decide between Far Cry 4 or The Last of us.
I've also just been reading about Battlefield Hardline, which looks fantastic!
When I was in Laos I spotted a few bars that did a "hangover breakfast" consisting of a eggs, garlic bread, chips, fruit, a glass of coke, paracetamol and valium. Pretty popular with the backpackers, especially if you had a long bus journey that day!
