Matt Jarvis?

Not been linked with him (as of yet!) but just a thought that he could be a possible signing.

Out of favour at West Ham and several championship teams interested in taking him on loan. However, none are the top of the table sides such as Derby or Middlesbrough. More teams like Reading & Cardiff, so he may be interested? He's also originally from down south (Surrey) so it could help to sway him.

Genuine right winger which is something we don't have. Great feet, good pace and a superb deliverer of the ball. Not quite sure whats happened to him, not too long ago he was playing brilliantly and on the brink of an England call up.

Very good shout however we are in danger of becoming a team of loanees again. I know it's difficult but it'd like to see additional signings this window be of a permanent nature.

Definitely worth a shout, would love it, but too much £ and another loanee...

I think Jarvis will be looking for a move to a Premier League club, unfortunately. He would be a very, very good signing if we could get him though.

I'd love this. I have a bit of a soft spot for Jarvis, having seen him play countless times for Gillingham.

Rumours say Norwich are trying to sign Jarvis as they need a wide man. If true that would indicate Bennett has no future there and open the door for us to bring him back.

Had some trouble earlier in the year at Ipswich and they released him (was on a short term deal anyway) but he's looking to get back into football now.

I guess with Redmond, Grabban, Hoolahan and Jarvis, there wouldn't really be a need to have Bennett too.

Grabban is a striker and Redmond is continually linked with a move away - I'm not saying we wouldn't be in for EB, but Norwich being rumoured as in for another winger does not by any means prove they don't want him.

Grabban is a striker who plays out wide as we have done with Baldock and Corlunga so effectively a winger. He plays in a similar striker role as Will Buckley did.
