I stood behind the south goal one half and walked round at half time to stand behind the north goal for the other. I wasn't a big fan of the chicken run itself.
You're 10 years too late for me, I went to Hove Grammar in 1959. Spookily enough, my first day was 60 years ago tomorrow, having moved from Surrey to Hassocks on 2nd November.

It woke me up and sounded very much like some sort of aircraft. I didn't get out of bed as I just assumed it would be gone in a few seconds. But I would estimate it was at least a minute and half or maybe two minutes before the noise stopped. Mind you, I still didn't get out of bed.
