I've never been to Norwich to watch Brighton either which is strange as we are often in the same division and the train from Liverpool St is really easy. I was also at the Sheffield United match it was indeed absolutely freezing!
Anyway, to answer your original question; Norwich, Spurs and Arsenal
He's 22 which isn't that young, Jadon Sancho is playing for England and he's 19. I would hate to see him lost in the u23's. Get him in, see what he's like in training etc.. then if he's good enough he's old enough. I know it's a bit of a jump but he must be playing senior football to progress
I have no idea how the football world works with regard to 'tapping up' but I presume it goes on all the time and to define it must be near on impossible. For example if Dan Ashworth goes to watch Swansea play and has a 'chat' with Potter - is that tapping up? If he asks him if he has ambitions...
Interesting that is says; "This is why Potter was targeted by Brighton, with whispers that discussions between the two parties took place as early as February.." Hopefully this means that he has been keeping an eye on the team for a while and has an idea of what our players are actually like...
Surely you can use this argument with any manager with the exception of the ones that finished above us in the league and I have a feeling Pep, Poch or Jurgen aren't available?
I am really hoping the Potter deal gets done ASAP. I think it will be an excellent appointment. Let's get it done quickly so he can have as long as possible to prepare for next season. Exciting times!
Totally correct. I am a qualified rugby referee and if you engage with the players it always works best. Of course it's not an exact science and different games/players react in different ways. The best bit of advise I have received from a senior ref was to say 'you don't deserve a better ref...
He's the boss. He gets credit when we do well and he gets the blame when we are doing badly. He is the guy that appoints the staff that have got us into this mess, so he is at least partly responsible. Also, he's just really annoying and if he concentrated on the important things ie: the...
It was difficult to take off the 3rd player as they were all playing so well? It was absolutely bizarre. At one stage Duffy was playing up front and Locadia was on the touchline looking on. I have no idea what was going on. Even bringing on Dan Burns for corners, anything absolutely anything...
What an arrogant tw*t. I loved it when he lost the plot with the police woman when she showed him the candelabra, he even shed tears. Imagine him operating on you, shudder to think..
