A bar owner I know in Cyprus uses them to try and quit smoking. It's not working, he uses it for a minute or two, goes to the other end of the bar and lights up a ciggie. His initial kit cost him 70 euros plus shipping-not exactly inexpensive.
I'd like something to be done to it (only because the current recorded version sounds terrible and tinny'). I like the idea of making it intimidating, exciting wouldn't hurt either. One thing's for sure, it should never be replaced with a 'pop song'. I'm sure there is a local band somewhere...
Whilst politely applauding the team off the pitch prior to putting their flask of unfinished Bovril back into their Roy Cropper stylee bag.
For crying out loud, I didn't go onto the pitch but if I'd had been closer then I would have done-when do we Albion fans have memorable moments these days...
I just did the same thing-as good as this thread was to read it was frigging GREAT to be there. The stats don't do our performance justice, we were as good as City in all aspects of the game and everybody held their nerve. What a night...what a night to be an Albion fan.
Just shows that creating an atmosphere at Withdean can be done and is a two-way thing-give the crowd something to get excited about and they respond and when we make a noise like last night the players raise their game. Let's hope it continues.
