It's generally around election time. The chancellor gives money away and the public don't think they will have to pay it back.
Or when the Tories announced they were going to abolish inheritance tax and everyone whose folks were soon to cop it thought it would actually affect them
It's just a podcast by a random bloke on the internet.
I don't follow any of it. All I've seen is the lines not moving in the last year and Ukraine constantly asking for Western cash.
It's not about 'winners' because there are no winners. But what is clearly happening is Ukrainian forces are...
That's the point I'm making. It's a stalemate. And it's all becoming very Western Front.
But Russia is in Ukrainian territory and has no intention of budging. So ultimately, there will end up being an agreement or this will just roll on and on with Ukraine constantly having to come cap in hand...
The propaganda here is coming from those with the scarves and hats with colours for either side.
Ukraine cannot remove Russia from it's territory.
However, with huge support from the West they can keep fighting and try to hold the lines (which hardly seem to be moving).
I've not followed news...
It's illegal Albion merchandise sold in the 'United State' with the EU address being in the UK.... and that at a terraced house in Manchester.
Apparently sometimes the order goes missing, according to the site.
Yeah, let's get our stuff from there :lolol:
I had the 74 version. The version I was promoted from Division 2 with in 1978.
I was playing kids two years above me and was hated by the 4th year. I came down faster than I went up- much to the joy of the older boys. My biggest achievement being to keep the reigning champion down to 0-2. Some...
I was under so much pressure to win and went 1-0 up early in the first match, but lost 3-2 in a replay after a 1-1 draw. My opponent was carried aloft Class 9 shoulders back to their lair. Bastards, I hate them all.
No, it hasn't affected me much.
There's a story there.
The World Cup tournament took place in July. But there was a rule you had to play in the same colours as your chosen team. To get round this, and use my Aston Villa team, I randomly chose El Salvador assuming no-one would know what colours they played in. During the...
I think I've only told you all about ten times that I was St Luke's School Division One champion in June 1981. So I'll tell you again.
I played as Aston Villa
A nice beach
Restaurant(s)
A nice little town / village to mooch about in (so not one of the many lovely, huge villas that have been built up in the hills of, say Crete, but are a car journey to get ANYWHERE)
Shanklin or Torbay
Well, quite. I don't like the Sussex trains much. The back breaking seats drive me to the car. And those cavernous trains that give me anxiety attacks.
I suppose I don't think about it much as I know how to navigate the sites. But I do wonder if there should be an automatic cheaper option...
When I have looked at advance train fares, they seem as cheap now as then. I remember going to Birmingham in the late 80s for £16 on my YPR. A few years back I booked an advance for the same price.
I think with the internet it is easier to get cheaper fares too.
But generally, with routine...
