    Moving back to London

East Finchley's good. Just north of Highgate, got Highgate Woods, Hampstead Heath and Ally Pally all nearby plus you're on the Northern Line and it's a 30 min tube ride into town/the city. Fairly quiet and the best cinema in London - The Phoenix. Good pubs/shops and it's fairly quiet and safe.

    Abusing coloured players

Words are powerful. The word 'coloured' has connotations relating to South Africa that if your mixed race or black are deeply uncomfortable. Of course it doesn't mean you're racist if you us the term here, but you should be aware that it will make some people feel uneasy if you do. It's just...

Trouble with the EDL at Brenford vs Orient

Well to be fair, 4 have and maybe 2 or 3 more tried. Not sure that is a huge representation of 'British Asians" most of whom would be as appalled of those actions as you and me, I would have thought.

    Build A Bonfire

This is absolutely true about Liam Brady, a QC literally crossed out everything he'd said and we were left with just 3 lines from his interview. I'm not sure about his managing abilities but he was a top man and hugely angry about what had happened to us. Bob Pinnock also did the same with his...

    Sir Tony Millard........

Something involving young rent boys and a flat in Hove I seem to remember. KNC's an expert on this as he shouts 'BEAST' v loudly anytime Millards name is mentioned in his presence. I'll never forget interviewing him for Build a Bonfire in his flat overlooking Sussex Cricket Ground with him...

    At the General Election,vote Labour.

To be fair to him, he may not have had a choice, sometimes the record co have the rights unless you have it specifically written in your contract. I remember Tom Waits couldn't stop one of his songs being used for an ad a few years ago and was really pissed off about it for same reasons.

photos from last game at Goldstone - recognise anyone?

Just scanned some old photos from that day and found these. Forgot a load of people tried to get in the North Stand without tickets and it all kicked off for a bit. Also does anyone know who the two blokes who got the record player?

    Staring At The Rude Boys

Thanks to the wonder world of music blogs I just downloaded the two Ruts DC albums Animal Now and Rhythm Collision which they did after Malcolm died with Paul Fox (who died 2 years ago) on vocals. Segs (bass player) still plays with the Alabama 3.
