I've said it before and I'll say it again. generally a very good stopper and postioning usually very good. Also ball play very good. But doesn't command his area and doesn't do enough with the high ball.. If we want to improve we need to have better.

A goalkeeper must command his area and is able to get out and catch the ball. A goalkeeper who stays on his line is ALWAYS a liability. It's true that Maty makes up for it in being a great shotstopper, ball player and he's excellent at positioning but it's a bit like having a one eyed player...

I don't disagree with you... its more a question of priorities... we havent got the wing backs sorted since Bruno retire don't eh right and god knows when on the left and we are a really good striker. After that, much as I like Ryan we'll never be safe at the back if we haven't got a goalkeeper...
