Will we be able to balance the books on 15k gates though? If not, we will spiral inwards due to a lack of money to invest in the playing side of things, which will make even less people want to shell-out large amounts of their hard-earned money to watch shite - etc., etc..
Bollox! What difference would he have made? We have a better Manager, the problem is with injuries and lack of signings. Poyet would have been in tears!
For myself, I do not really care as I support the Club through thick and thin. However, I am worried that we have invested heavily and need the fickle JCLs to watch football matches to pay for things. They will keep drifting away with this current form.
The comment was in replt to 21 shots and only three on target! We all understand the injury chrisis, but what is the excuse for professional footballers who cannot shoot?
It is just a smokescreen. If we wanted to stretch the boundaries we could like the others are doing. Apart from the clubs with parachute payments, surely our expenditure could be biggest as we have the highest revenues? I understand Forest got round it with "sponsership payments" - why can't we?
Forest are well financed, they will be there or there-abouts. It still does not help our position though. Still, I cannot see us going down, the players will be back before the end of the season to help with the relegation battle.
I do, it is the fault of the workers in the main. They lie about being skilled construction workers, and get found-out the hard way. How many of them would have died of starvation, illness or some other reason in their homeland slums anyway. Any stats from you bleeding hearts on that?
Looks like TB has run out of money, or at least is not prepared to invest further. I think FFP is just an excuse to try to balance the books. It must be tough with so many out injured and not being able to pay for loans to replace them. The good thing is that OG appears to be less money fixated...
