Yeah, because Bridcutt, Orlandi, Ulloa and CMS wouldn't have got long term injuries under Gus, would they?

Oh CMS did get his injury under Gus.

I'm talking as much bollocks as you now!

It's obviously catching.

This season will be a learning curve for Oscar and his assistants. He has had rotten luck so far.

Keep the faith!

This is just stating the obvious, but it will wind up a lot of people.

We should have done everything we could to keep him - We would be on course for the Premier League if we did, this season would have inevitability been our promotion season.

Sacking Gus is a profound & monumental **** up from the board.

What a load of nonsense gus was leaving one way or another in the summer and any suggestion Gus would be doing any better with a squad ravaged by injuries to our key players is simply mental

Leave Mustafa alone, he looks in a cuckoo land where North Korea should be admired, Gus was perfect and socialism is realistic.

Last time I checked neither Gus or Oscar were on the pitch playing so what has Gus got to do with our shoddy defending?

Absolute tosh, why do you think Poyet wanted to jump ship so many times? He knew we needed to spend more to move any further, which isn't an option.

Everything? Should we bankrupt the club to keep him? Ridiculous thing to say.

TB has spent a HUGE amount building the stadium and training ground, as well as funding a lot of signings. Some are saying that FFP has come at the right time for him, I don't know about, that but there is no Chairman out there that has put so much in, to drag his boyhood team from the depths of mediocrity to being respected once again in the game.

I'm pissed off with tonight's result but sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture; 1 year, 5 years, 20 years.... It wasn't that long ago that I was scared we had no future. Yes another person wittering on about about the Withdean years...

Anyway, rant over. I wasn't there tonight but I am a season ticket holder. I will get back to my holiday beer and jump on the pool before it gets too dark.

Maybe the title should be changed to ' We should have signed a Striker before the season started ' as that has always been our most pressing issue
