I was watching something on BBC 4 at the time and a message appeared on the bottom of the screen 'Breaking News on BBC One' so I quickly switched over to find out more then went straight back to BBC 4 to see the end of the programme.
They then kept flashing up the same message (which took up the...
Don't forget that Palace play Millwall on Tuesday, so we may know that its them in the semi's if they win. So it just be final day to decided who has the home leg second (finishing 4th). So we might hear something before the Wolves game if thats the case.
I think that its a Sunday midday kick-off is more of an inconvenience than getting home slightly later.
But its only for one game, sure i can deal with it!
Ive purposely booked a flight on the Tuesday morning just in case we do get to Wembley, as i would be guttted to miss it if we do get there. The first thing i did was check the dates but had a rough idea that it was the Bank Holiday Monday as it normaly is.
But we need to get there first...
No...
No way, Tuesday is the game out of the 2 that im most looking forward to.
Have a sort spot for Benfica so when it was announced that Nuno Gomes had signed for Blackburn that was one of the first fixtures i looked out for. Hope he features at some point.
Well its all guess work at the minute, but the point im getting at is at the minute over the course of the season im saving over £200 by having a season ticket rather than paying game by game basis for my seat. If they push up the transport levey only on season tickets and it works out only a...
Ive got the feeling that the transport levey rise is only going to effect season ticket holders next year as indivdual tickets went up by £4 last year. That way it will bridge the gap alittle between paying as you go and a season ticket. So instead of 7 'free' games as Barber calls it, in effect...
Any game that is prosponed after people have travelled a long distance is always annoying, but its just one of the risks that you have to factor in when watching football during Dec/Jan.
Its happened to me afew times in the past and its just one of them things.
Yep, me +3.
Got plenty of time after the game as the support act doesn't start until 7:30 so probabily have a beer or 2 at the ground then get a train straight to Brighton. Guests included KT Tunstall, Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Rico Rodriguez.
There's no way i would pay £39 for this fixture, but atleast the club are allowing fans to move to a cheeper part of the ground if they so wish.
Also judgeing by the website when they go on general sale no one needs purchase history so the club will shift alot of tickets even if its just...
Anyone tryed getting any yet? As when i go to check out they are charging me £12 (2 tickets pus BF), don't mind paying a BF but thought it ws free for STH?
Went last month as you get free admission if your seeing an act at the 02.
I really enjoyed it, covers every era in seperate rooms whilst in the middle there stuff like an interactive map that you can scroll along that shows you important locations, i had a scroll on Sussex and includes Fatboy...
I think that the yearly and 3 monthly passes do work out at exellent value, for example a year is £450 - £1.23 a day. But it seems to me that the occasional traveller or someone on a low income does get penalised.
As someone has mentioned it would be alot easier for me if they used the oyster...
This year i did:
Paris in February, visited all the main sites. Effiel Tower, Louve, Notra Dame etc... It reminded me of London with regards to all the nice stuff is centeral but the North and Southern parts where abit of a dump.
Berlin in May. Exellent trip, my favourite of the year. Went to...
