I'm going with the team I incorrectly picked for last weeks match. An extra weeks traaining has surely got to see Webster back in the fold.
Sanchez
White
Dunk
Webster
Veltman
Bissouma
Lallana
Burn
Trossard
Welbeck
Maupay
Seems a shame to drop Gross who's done nothing wrong but where to fit...
Which country would suffer the most? Spain presumably would be in a bit of bother with no Barca, Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid players but they probably have a wealth of talent at other clubs? Italy? Holland?
I'd assume it would leave Germany looking very strong. France would be missing...
I was about to post a thread on this very same subject and what a 'big 6-less' England team/squad would look like.
Keeper would be either Pickford or Pope
I reckon my squad would be along the lines of:
Pickford, Pope, Johnstone
Targett, Cresswell,
Walker-Peters, Lamptey(if fit)
Dunk...
Probably not many. They're the type of 'fans' that this league is looking to exploit: plastics who have no link to the team they 'support' or the history of the club or the area it's from. You could move the clubs 'home' games to an entirely different continent and I imagine it'll have no...
Whilst Arsenal are pretty piss poor at the moment they do at least have pedigree. They're the third most successful club domestically and have played in Europe every season for something like the past 25 years. Admittedly that run is(or now we've had this announcement I guess we should change...
Has anyone pointed out how ludicrous it is to describe Tottenham as one of Europe's leading clubs?
Domestically they've won two league cups in the past 30 years. In European terms they're nowhere. According to the UEFA website they're number 66 in the all time European cup/Champions league...
That's a second very enjoyable race out of two for the season. I really hope it continues. Great drives from Verstappen and Norris, masterful comeback from Hamilton from a position where he was nose first in a barrier and to all intents and purposes out of the race. Spins and crashes aplenty...
Let them go. Kick them out of their domestic leagues. Carry on with the domestic leagues and European competitions. Move the 12 clubs to different cities around the world and the army of Asians, Africans and plastics can have a local team to support. The rest of us can get on with our...
That was an excellent qualifying.
Hamilton's 99th pole, Perez out qualifying Perez, Lando's absolute stormer(sadly deleted).
The race will be interesting with two Red Bull's behind Hamilton. Will they order perez out of the way of Max or let them race?
I went for the Derby game, partly for the Ravenelli factor but mostly because it was the only one I went to. I did manage to see the Oldham game though as that was one of those rarest of things, a televised Brighton game in league one.
Obviously it's swindon but as I wasn't there for that I can't vote for it. In fact, the only game I was there for was the Exeter game. a game that I'd completely forgotten about until this tournament and even then had no idea why it was 'special'. Having read the description it did set off...
