A joke if this happened. All credit German sides and PSG for not signing up to this. Supporters of English top sides cant be happy with it and it needs them to boycott games and STs

I think and hope your right.

This is actually a golden opportunity to press the reset button on football finances and rid the game of the greedy money driven elements.

The reason the PL is the most watched league is because of its competitive nature.... if the euro greed league comes into reality then the competitiveness will disappear anyway. So bite the bullet... short term pain for long term gain for the game.

Let fans be footballs biggest stakeholder again rather than the CEO and billionaire owners who only care about cash.

If the Euro greed league appears surely the PL becomes instantly more (not less) competitive. It’s a very positive and welcome development

i wonder which is the worse greed. the clubs that want to grow globally or UEFA that want to expand their tournament. maybe the clubs is the better of two evils, as UEFA seems determined on dominating over the domestic leagues, while the clubs want to play along side.

Would people really like 6 teams playing each other multiple times throughout a season? . I guess there would be no relegation as well, which would make a lot of games meaningless. Madness.

Hats off to the German clubs.
A requirement for all clubs to be at least 51% fan owned.
And now refusing to join the greedy bast@rds from England, Italy and Spain in their breakaway.

Total admiration for the way the Germans run their football.

I can't see the breakaway happening. But then again I was convinced Brexit couldn't happen and Trump could never be elected.

UEFA and Florentino Pérez came to an agreement to change the format of the Champions League and not go on with the Super League project, but Real Madrid's president worked behind the scenes and managed to convince 12 teams. He 'backstabbed' Ceferin. (Source: abc_deportes)

Never under estimate the power of Real Madrid.

Let them go, but only on the proviso that they can't come back if it all goes wrong.

Greedy ****ers, the lot of them.

National associations could kaibosh this by saying that no player from a team outside their jurisdiction and league system would be eligible for international duty.

FIFA themselves have said that now. They said that any player that played in this "super league" would not be eligible for any FIFA backed competition, including the World Cup.
