100 years of Solitude.
I'm not feeling it. It's widely considered one of the masterpieces of the 20th century so the deficiency is mine. I just don't get it.
One of the finest sights I've ever seen in a Brighton shirt was Duffy steaming through a striker and thumping a header 40 yards back to the opposition keeper. Simple but blood thumpingly inspiring.
I've said many times, probably already in this thread, but I'm going to say it again: I bloody love Shane Duffy.
He was a magnificent beast of a defender for three years for us and I don't think I'll ever have a favourite defensive partnership over him and Dunk. Absolutely heroic defending...
It's a conundrum isn't it?
I'd take Potter and our squad over Hodgson and theirs but it does raise the thorny question of what's going wrong for them to be above us.
I put it down to two things. The first is aesthetics. I'd rather watch how we play over how they play but that isn't to...
I've just seen a stat that Leicester have only spent one week out of the top four since September 2019. Unfortunately for them it was the last week of last season. Nonetheless that's really impressive and shows just what is achievable if you get it right on and off the pitch.
I admire your positivity.
I think I'd share it if I hadn't been worn down by all the other negative threads - potter in/out, how many points dropped?, player x- what is he for etc etc.
I miss the good old days when we could put a player up for sale and the said player would come on here and...
Maybe.
If there weren't already threads slagging off Maupay and dozens of other threads slagging off other players and the manager I might share your view. It's certainly an imaginative way to have a dig at a player but it isn't different in its essence, it's still looking to slaughter him.
Sadly I don't think it is a strange question. Not on NSC anymore, anyway. It's emblematic of the depths this once great website has sunk to in recent times. I really hope it's just a consequence of covid-19 and its lock downs and the stresses and the strains its put everyone under but this...
Well that was a disappointing watch this morning.
We lost it with that awful, lethargic, lackadaisical first half performance where everyone but Bissouma was playing like they were on the beach or it was a pre-season friendly. The second half was better but with our well documented travails in...
As a comparison, what is our official debt? I know most(all?) of it is to TB and gets converted into shares after so many years but it would be nice to see if our debt is big enough to get us considered as one of Europe's leading clubs.
You can watch the chelsea fans protest here:

Whilst I'm all for the protests and heartened to see it, I did have a little chuckle that a minute or so ago they were singing 'you can shove your ****ing money up your arse'...
Anyway I'm looking forward...
Because they got laughed out of town when the other 11 clubs realised they were trying to pass themselves off as a major European force so they had to slink back to the premier league?
