[Albion] Why did CH bring on Locadia at the end?

Normally I understand it, but in this case we had 15 seconds to go before the ref blew the final whistle. Given that refs add on 30 seconds for a substitution CH gave CP another 15 to 20 seconds to get an equaliser. lol

What has Murray done tonight missed two sitters and won nothing in the air. Should probably start at home but not away. Our finishing really is poor..

They have pace up front, we don't. They create a chance and they score we create and don't. The same old story. When is hughton going to start Bissouma only on because of an injury. Losing the faith in CH tactics to be honest.

16th on 38 points but have to beat Cardiff, Huddersfield Southampton at home lose one of those and we are in trouble.

[Albion] Is it any wonder fans get frustrated....

Was just going to post that myself. The big teams seem to get all the decisions, how could he miss that. an absolute disgrace. AND the Liverpool keeper should be booked for that outfit lol.

    [Football] Bong Today

He and Solly March had probably their best games for a long while. CH was not going to play Bissouma until Stephens pulled out and I think that played in our favour. Bissouma and Propper add pace and creativity to our midfield. With Stephens and Gross (who is very under par this season} it...

[Albion] Huddersfield and Palace up next. Anyone feeling a bit twitchy?

Huddersfield attacked Wolves from the off because they knew that if you let Wolves have all the possession they would hurt them. Unfortunately CH does not trust his players to be good enough to attack and defend. We defend from the off and hopefully nick a goal from a rare attack. He will not...

    [Albion] Attacking intent

I take your point but surely at home against the weaker teams we should be able to attack these sides. We did this last year and scored goals. What has changed. Stats say that at home we have less of the ball in these games. That was not always the case last season. It appears that Chris does...

    [Albion] Attacking intent

Am I the only one that thinks we have less willingness to attack than last season. Points that I have noticed in the past weeks. 1. Wingers no longer take on full backs playing the ball sideways and backwards. At home they should be attacking sides not being told to defend deeper than the full...

[Albion] Player ratings vs Cardiff (a)

Pretty spot on for me but would have taken a point off March as he clearly cannot play that role behind Murray. Obviously was told to play close to Murray, but often was standing on his toes. I would like to see him back on he wing.

Huddersfield and newcastle already winning. Could be a important weekend for us. However, I would have settled for a draw away so only 1 point dropped in my eyes. More worried about performances lately and lack of quality. Gross has been a massive loss. I would like to see Andone play the role...

He certainly isn’t trying to keep his place in the side. He has been awful. However, not many others have showed up today. Time to give the new signings more of a go and practice passing in training

Knochheart and Isquierdo have not been in the game. Knocky is running round like a headless chicken.

Our passing in the last few games even though we won some has been awful. We have no intensity to our game. Just about to say Stevens has been awful. Now this.

    [Albion] Murray and Knocky

Knocky has improved his game immensely this season, especially away from home. I would like to see his pitch coverage stats against last year. He was our best player by a country mile tonight. As someone on another thread said last year he would have lost his cool. Him and AJ should be starting...

Will Hughton now go two up front away. Awful tactics by him from the start.

If the new signings don't play in the next game then it really is scandalous. Bong Propper Stephens March have all been terrible and some of the others not much better. Interesting what Hughton has to say after the game.
