    This 'plastic fan' thing......

My parents moved to Brighton in 1980 and my brother took me to my first game in 1981, so very much the glory days. Everyone has to start supporting the Albion some time. What was lovely last season was seeing kids, who up until recently followed PL teams, becoming Albion fans. One chap I sit...

    Paul Barber - first impressions

Very good points. I get there early and stay late because I can enjoy a good beer and a fantastic pie. Otherwise I'd be arriving just before KO and leaving on the whistle, thus spending less.

    Official txt about Chelsea tickets

It's not a matter of boycotting it, it's a matter of simply not being able to afford it. I'm going to FDM's game and that, sadly, will probably have to be that.

    Travelling America

Who said flights to the USA are cheap?! They're ridiculously expensive! When I last flew to NY (admittedly, in 2001) it cost me £150 return. Now, it's near on £400!

    Seagulls Tattoo

Still LOVE my Albion tattoo. Had the old circular seagull badge inked onto my right arm in 1996, just before the game away at Orient. It's a bit wonky and the bloke doing it forgot to cross the A in Albion, but it's mine and I love it :)

Just been bitten by a mouse, do they carry disease...

Off topic, but while we're talking about unwanted contact with animals, if you do ever happen to end up eating dog, cat or fox poo, check its consistency afterwards  My 19-month-old daughter ate some fox shit that was on the patio a few weeks back. NHS Direct said not to worry if it was...
