Peterhead vs East Stirling, 27 December 2004.
Whoever designed that ground - up on a hill, only two stands, both of which are perpendicular to the winds coming up off the North Sea - clearly had something against football fans.
Also, I went to an East Fife game (I think vs Stenny, but I'm not...
I'm hoping to! Only 437 miles there and back, and the atmosphere will be brilliant. What's not to like?
Bigtomfu - nothing can erase the memory of that goal!
No he's not! I agree that he's not upper class - that's obvious - but neither is he a lower middle class grammar school boy. He is an upper middle-class privately-educated (Brentwood) boy.
Brentwood fees are currently more than £20,000 a year.
Flight was deselected because he stupidly made a statement that contradicted his leader's public line while exposing the party leadership's private line - that cuts following a tory victory would be far higher than they were prepared to put in their manifesto.
I believe the favourite tabloid...
To be fair, Lennon was speaking (screaming) in the heat of the moment, and although he hasn't been full of remorse since then, he has suggested that he might have over-reacted. John Reid, however, is just a ****.
Yeah, I know - I don't like it either.. I had originally put 'diving' in my reply, but changed it to simulation for the same reason the authorities use it - because diving isn't the only problem. For instance, rolling around in pretended pain when you are not hurt is simulation even if you were...

Here we go again. Another attempt by the Windsors to deepen the world's shallowest gene pool. Looking at William Windsor, Spencer didn't manage to bring much to the party. I bet Middleton fails, too.
In a musician, I generally just want the music to be good. I don't care if he is a tosser or the soundest bloke on the planet.
Now, if the poll had been 'shite' or 'really quite good', I could have voted. Because his music, needless to say, is dreadful.
I find the presence of John Reid on their board (indeed as chairman) far more offensive than this banner - and I say that as someone from a family almost entirely of servicemen and women.
All this ruddy nonsense about MK Franchise promoting football in the MK area pisses me off more than anything else about their fans. Oh, and 'giving local people a team to support' coming from the club. At the time of the takeover, there were three league clubs within 25 miles of Milton Keynes...
Late Nov/early Dec looking fascinating. Southampton (currently 6th), Colchester (3rd) and Huddersfield (2nd) in consecutive games. Get through that like we got through the Bournemouth/Charlton/Posh 3-in-4 games, and we will be more than just 'top of the table at Christmas' - we'll be coasting...
