We all attach labels to ourselves ("Brighton fan"), so there's nothing to fear there! Unitarians tend not to worry about these things - and often self-identify with two belief communities (unitarian and humanist, for example). The point not to be missed is that one should be equally respectful...
Nah. This is the best bit from that article.
7. Depth. England are in serious strife if they lose any of their first XI ... Australia have eight Test-standard speedsters in the queue.
Indeed. We have only played Bournemouth, Charlton and Brentford out of the rest of the current top ten (and taken 5 points from them, with just a goal in each game). That 0 in the home defeats column is very nice, and must give the players confidence, but there's a lot of work still to be done.
Well, Elizabeth (as an Archer) and the kids will stay in Ambridge for that long, presumably, so there will be family repercussions. And the impact on practices at, or perhaps even ownership of, Lower Loxley could have major ramifications throughout the village.:moo:
And don't forget the guilt...

Actually, I'm not surprised this minute's silence was properly observed. I know enough fans of both clubs to know that the Ibrox disaster is one of the few things that they agree on. Well, there are no doubt a very few of the very worst bigots who rejoice in the deaths...
During this bad weather, every single parcel I having been waiting for through RM has arrived. Every parcel except one I am waiting for through Home Delivery Network has failed to arrive (well, one is supposed to have, but according to them it was signed for by one 'S Williams' - who?). UPS told...
Lovely things. Clearly, they are best enjoyed stir-fried (I prefer them with almonds), but they are so wonderful they can be treated pretty simply. One of my absolute favourite mid-afternoon snacks is a huge bowlful, steamed, and drenched in onion gravy.
I'm veggie, and on Christmas Day...
Fair enough, to some extent, but I'm sure none would think that Barnsley is IN Leeds, or that Middlesbrough is IN Newcastle or wherever.
However, you are of course unfortunately right - the average Briton's ignorance of British geography is quite frightening.
Truly the greatest. TMR is one of the greatest albums ever, and (by some distance) the greatest album cover ever. I had the pleasure of causing BBC Radio Scotland to play excerpts from TMR on their Culture Cafe show (a first for the show), and then having 10 minutes to expound on why it is the...
Had a similar experience at the League Cup game at Middlesbrough. "Where is Brighton, then? Is it in London?". He was about 14, I reckon. I laughed, assuming he was joking, but he looked offended so perhaps he wasn't.
Huddersfield has the third highest number of listed buildings in Britain - only Bristol and the City of London have more. Lovely place. Home to Britain's finest contemporary classical music festival, too.
Our average position out of the 92 clubs at the end of the season within the league system since four divisions were introduced (1958) is 50th. Currently, that equates to 6th in the 3rd division/League One, ie where Colchester currently sit.
Sort of. They were originally in Rutherglen, a town in Lanarkshire. Between 1974 and 1997 Rutherglen was within Glasgow Urban District Council's borders, but nobody really considers it to be part of Glasgow. Rutherglen is now within South Lanarkshire's borders. They did ground share for a while...
Having been to all of these grounds...
Ugliest town of those is Dingwall, ugliest view from the ground - indeed, surely the ugliest sight in all of football - is Methil.
