The opening quote in this thread isn't from Naylor but a poster, Guest. Naylor does, no surprise, take issue with nigh on every concern made about the Albion to label people moaners or fickle.
While some are perhaps silly and offensive about it, there are problems that Gus needs to address. How...
A good idea, they do this for club songs at big Italian clubs, including Juve and Roma. It is a spine tingly thing. I am pleased to say I know the words and often sing the song at home.
Like many Vinicombe's Verdict was an integral part of all things Albion for me. He is a big part of the club's history, whether one agreed with his verdict or not. RIP.
I agree with a lot of what you say, but there was trouble between the fans a couple of years before Mullery-Venables. While they certainly fanned the flames in their time at the respective clubs the going up and down together over almost 10 years, with many a key promotion or relegation battle...
He's been an excellent player for Liverpool, but very very underwhelming for England. Amazed people think he's done the business in an England shirt. Not fussed whether he figures against us or not.
Crazy to second guess where a club like the Albion will be in 5 years let alone 10!
I reckon in the Championship, or whatever it will be called by then, but having had a taste of the premier league in the meantime. This season's League Cup Final appearance the catalyst for 2-3 seasons of heaven.
I reckon Dalglish would bite yer hand off, or get one his pals from the underworld (allegedly) to do it, for the League Cup, this season at least. Let's not give 'em the chance. We can certainly beat them or lose heavily. Such is the beauty of football!
Arsenal or Spurs should be chasing Zamora, who has become one of the very best leaders of the line in the premier League. Too early for him to come home to us. Much as I'd love him back in the sacred stripes, he should be at a top PL club and in the England squad not in Div 2 in old money.
Not sure about their IQ, but it is somewhat ironic that Chelsea of all clubs are lodging complaints about anti-semitic abuse from the crowd. Be interesting to hear what Spurs fans make of this. The Chelsea board was right to complain of course and they could do a lot more for the cause by...
