Skrewdriver, not screwdriver. And to be fair most of the skins I used to drink with, at gigs like Splodge up in Faringdon, were fine. Not all skins are, or were, fash.
Sadly I doubt the army will help. A goodly number of the slightly older stockport boys (about 35-40 years old I mean), many of whom are still active, are ex forces and were happily active on both club and England 'scene' whilst still serving.
My tuppence. The press have been aware for a long time that CR was on the radar. I knew he was in yewtrees sights and I'm just a computer programmer in a manufacturing company. Any new agency or orgainsation that was not expecting and watching for this is not worth the name of a news agency.
He has been arrested. Back in April a 73 year old man was arrested in North London and questioned about historical abuse allegations. It didn't take a lot of nouse to discover which 73 year old man living in North London was being referred to.
Edit to add link to story from back then...
So because there's only been a few hundred cases so far of a virus which causes up to 90% fatality it's not worth researching the cure which is already known but needs further funding.
I wonder if the same attitude would have been taken if it were only a few hundred cases in the US? Oh look...
And, to the surprise of absolutely no-one I'm sure, it turns out that in fact the US DOES have a treatment for Ebola but nobody has bothered investing money in developing it fully. http://scienceblogs.com/gregladen/2014/08/04/there-is-a-cure-for-ebola-we-have-it-we-just-dont-let-anyone-use-it/...
The first section of that linked reports states
"Update: The later part of this article is based on information provided by the Kiev Spanish air controller. Since posting this article, we have received reports to the effect the Spanish Air controller is fake and that the twitter message were...
So what. Common sense also says you do not walk in certain areas of London N5 at night. If you are then attacked by someone and die whilst doing so that is still murder.
The 'seperatists' almost certainly did not have the technical knowledge to operate the necessary radar equipment. That would have to have been done by a trained technician. Now I wonder which country with a close border to the area may have those kind of trained technicians?
Oh, and I am well...
Was there an officially delared no fly zone in place? If not then the airliner was flying in international airspace and whoever shot it down has no justification at all. To claim otherwise and to allow that claim to stand will open a VERY nasty can of worms.
Edit to add - I realise you are...
If you recklessly and negliently fire a loaded gun into a crowded room you are guilty of murder if you hit and kill someone. If the missile was fired deliberately but a mistake was made in hitting a civilian airliner then I would suggest that act is both reckless and negligent.
I suggest you...
That's the problem with playing with rabid wolves as Putin has been doing in the Ukraine.
You think you are controlling them but they are still rabid wolves and will do the unpredictable. Putin has been playing with fire for a long time now, it is not surprising that he is finally going to...
Weasel words, you are wriggling on a hook trying to deny the fairly evident evidence of who shot this plane down. Responsibility rests solely with the man at the top who supported the 'seperatists' and then went on to arm them.
