I saw this tonight. Respectfully, it absolutely worked for me. Reminded me a bit, artistically, of Hunger - the visuals were great, the sound was - as someone has said - 'the other film'. I didn't really get on with his last one, Under the Skin, so I am pleased this one has lived up to...
For what it's worth, when I chanced upon the picture I think I thought "..." and clicked another news item. Then the same old voices shrieked blue murder, then Keir and now Rish! have piped up, and I feel as if I'm being forced to have an OPiNioN.
But I don't. I bloody do about the price. But...
I got my first mobile in the late 90s I think, bought it from some long-deceased company over the (land) 'phone, and had to give them a 4 digit pin on completion to 'prove' it was me (security was quite something back then). I used to always use 1983. The sales bod said "oh that's funny, that's...
Well he's not going to Liverpool according to the BBC - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68368787 - and if this is all 'real', then Barcelona will probably pass too.
Rather than polls of the future, what about the voting just gone? In Michigan, the Felony Factory won with 68%. In South Carolina, he won with 60%. Looks pretty resounding.
Except. 30% of republicans voted for someone else in Michigan., 40% in SC. Here, at least a third of 'his base' don't want...
I really liked S3, I expect you will too. Introduced me to Scoot McNairy who in turn led led me to Narcos. He's brilliant in everything I've seen him in.
Also he's up there with 80s weather forecaster Flip Spiceland as having the Americanest name in telly.
I've started "Huset" on iPlayer, with Sofie Gråbøl. I wouldn't normally post about something I hadn't watched all the way through, but after a grimly tense and unsettling first episode I had to tell someone about it. 6 x 1hr episodes. It's gonna be good...
Anyone remember his "Touchline Tales"? Two older gentlemen reminiscing and sharing sporty anecdotes? It was Gone Fishing before Gone Fishing. Lovely, lovely stuff, but sadly not re-listenable yet on BBC Sounds.

I read an interview with him a while back - actually, could have been his comments on Twitter - where he placed the blame squarely on the club doctors. No idea if that's sour grapes, but still.
I didn't understand some of the financial jiggery-pokery discussed, but it hadn't occurred to me that 'cleverly' spreading the cost of a 100m player over 8 years means that any profit in selling them before those years are up means far less actual profit.
If I got that right.
So buying Moises...
