I snaffled a stream too and the commentators couldn't stop banging on about how good we were. I know it's been mentioned a couple of times on here before but who'd've thunk this, 27 years ago?
A (smug) final highlight today will doubtless be an Albion- related Lineker-sign-off on MotD. It will be in the Dad joke territory but will send me to bed with a smile on my face :)
That's note perfect, Stat. Quite the cultured player I seem to remember, though I didn't realise he made so few appearances for us (27, Wikipedia?). I do remember seeing him exit the stadium one evening, into the arms of a group of his German mates who were waiting outside for him - I don't know...
I don't think it's better nor worse than your average ITV crime drama. As has been mentioned on here before, John Simm didn't sound overly enthusiastic about the source material in initial interviews, but the they've changed the writers for the current series and to me anyway, the first episode...
I really enjoy these, and this episode throws some more players into the mix -

Needless to say, Martinez and Suarez are right up there.
Mine has gone down in the last hour or so. In London I can’t tune into Sussex radio on my wireless, they’re not broadcasting the programme online (as far as I can tell) so are we buggered up here?
Great question, and one I've pondered for a while this evening. I lived in Scotland 'til I was 7, and moved to Sussex having 'supported' Rangers, as, I can only surmise, they wore my favourite colour. Why I was even interested in football, given that no one in the family could have given a...
I mean it's not bad at the moment. Not great (it tells me Mullery nearly won the FA Cup and Melia got us promoted), but not *that* bad...
Brighton, where waves do crash upon the shore,
Where seagulls soar amidst the salty spray,
Where echoes of the pier's lively uproar
Do mingle with the cries...
Micky Adams for me. I remember a home game v Plymouth at Withdean, not having been for a couple of years, and it was all suddenly so entertaining, and fun, and we were good. He was Potter before Potter. And I loved Potter.
I've experienced a lot of (other people's) TVs and my one and only takeaway is that screen size HAS to have comparative electrics to back it up. There is nothing worse (except genocide, maybe) than firing up a nice-looking big ol' TV, then having to wait for minutes while the tv guide wheezes...
There was a cracking podcast about this last year, "Chasing Cosby". Lots of career details and timelines, the victims talk openly, it's very interesting. But as Greg Bobkin says above, the lack of justice (even the appearance of) is what riles.
Here's one for you all. I'm not a Seth Rogan fan, but.... he gets people to tell stories and after some excellent editing and sound design, it ends up being pretty great
