That Italian team of 1982 were very, very good. Just re-watched that match. Rossi could not put a foot wrong.
And because there was no VAR, it is pure theatre. Loved it.
RIP Paolo. Legend.
Not in my experience. They taunt you by appearing to be available, but then they disappear - presumably purchased by someone with fleeter fingers than me!
This is going to sound a bit grumpy, but I was in at 8.59 and every time I highlighted a seat, by the time I clicked BUY the ****er had gone. Multiple times.
Mr Ings is a very lucky boy (and he knows it).
Kyle Walker-Peters is a magnificent athlete. To get that much elevation and forward momentum, superb. 9.9 from me.
But when a 12 year old is (rightly) saying VAR has ****ed up again, I do worry about the game. I accept I'm not the target audience but presumably he is.
Don't know about you lot, but I'm edging closer to the football exit. Season ticket, Sky, the lot. I hate VAR and the current football culture (diving, "drawing fouls" etc) with a ****ing passion.
And my 12 y.o is with me.
That 2nd half performance was poor. It wasn't a penalty IMO, but a stupid challenge from March who really should be learning this stuff by now.
For me, not enough urgency and not enough desire in 2nd half. That's a big worry.
In the build-up Carragher was saying Maty has the worst ratio in the PL of saving shots on target. The stats don't lie.
But do I think he could have saved that header? No. Allison might have got a hand to it.
