I kind of understand where you are coming from tbh. He's 'hard work' and high maintenance, which after a while becomes draining- both for supporters and players / staff alike I should imagine.

Fair enough. I can genuinely say I’ve never actually listened to Talk Sport but have heard enough comments about it and the apparently endless commercials for Trust A Trader to realise that given a choice I’d probably prefer listening to sound of my life slowly ebbing away.
I’m possibly being unfair but I’m not sure who are the most in need of help: people who call in to football phone ins, or those who actually listen to them.
