I find I need the toilet more often than the average person whenever James Milner is selected to play at left back but as I shan’t be travelling to Rome you needn’t worry.
I hope your travel service is a big success
Ha! Yes. Now waiting for page 1/3 on 306 Ceefax to scroll round again could be a little frustrating. I hate to think how many hours in 90 minute blocks I've wasted, staring at bloody Ceefax page 306. But a 30 second delay on a live stream on iPlayer? That's within my tolerance levels.
Well, quite. I've been pondering this too.
Of all the things I have to worry about, a 30 second delay on a (free) live football feed is struggling to break into the top 3, to be honest.
I'm on my way. Might miss kick off as had an unexpected meeting in Wolverhampton (of all places!) this afternoon but on my way back down south now.
Annoying.
The cost of a private jet between London and Rome is quoted as between $16,500 and $32,000.
Yes, seems pricey at first glance but once you factor in it avoids short-term parking fees and a sandwich from WHS at Stansted, it begins to look like value.
Very sad news. Tony always took everything in great humour, was hugely passionate about the Albion and had a lovely self-deprecating nature. He was always great fun on the matchday threads, particularly back in the Nationwide league days - when following the latest developments from Millmoor or...
“Here’s that ticket, Treacle. Appreciate it if we could keep it just between us, yeah?”
2 days later…13.9 million views :moo:
Anyway, regardless of the rights or wrongs of this whole sorry saga, you can’t help but feel that the party to emerge from it with the greatest reputational damage is...
Probably a wise move. I was half way through getting my UEFA Europa League - Winners 2024 tattoo done, but luckily I saw this thread and managed to get it changed to 'Round of 16!" just in time.
We've got superRobdeZerbi
He knows exactly what we need
Stock cubes, some free range chicken breasts, 20 Lambert & Butler
It's all round to his for a good feed.
Looking at the relative weakness at the bottom of the PL this season, I'm pretty certain Everton wanted to get any potential points deduction done and dusted asap. Never going to have a better chance of having points docked AND still finish 17th or above.
One of the football correspondents on 5 Live predicted about a month or so ago that Everton's points deduction would most likely be reduced on appeal.
Genuinely, what a waste of everybody's time. Just decide upon a sanction, make sure it is appropriate, proportionate and watertight and stick to it.
If I were going (which I'm not) and if I had the time (which I don't), I'd love to travel from the UK to Rome by train. Undoubtedly, the reality would be far removed from the Gerald Durrell-esque image I have in my mind, but it feels like a real adventure compared to the sub-human experience...
Well, yes, I’d guessed that. It just seemed odd for the poster to illustrate their tweet with a library image that does nothing to corroborate their point. It’s not important.
Well, I certainly don’t come on NSC with the intention of making people feel bad or to have public digs at their character . Genuinely, I don’t. But on reflection I can see how I could have approached this differently so I’ll also publicly apologise.
Just to be clear, my views about asking for...
