Radio article today said that RATM are about 40,000 sales in the lead and together both songs have sold over 480,000 copies. However X factor has caught up due to the CD being released in the shops yesterday. RATM will only sell as a download and x factor will pick up a lot of CD sales this weekend.

Apparently the bereaved mother put her phone on speaker and a friend recorded the transcript on a Blackberry. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression it was against the law to record a phone conversation without telling the other person.

I read that she says he misunderstood her because he only spoke 'fractured English'. I heard him interviewed on the radio yesterday, and he speaks better English than most Brits.
