massively overachieved, are you sure?
great job in league one no doubt.
he then took the best supported club in the division into the playoffs, where he was out done by holloway. Taking that team into the playoffs with:
polish international goalkeeper,
ex la liga stars.
ex england...
he had/has a good job here. Dont get me wrong he is a decent manager, just not the untouchable that some see him as. At the start of last season with the players he had I thought top 6 was realistic, I dont see it as a miracle against the odds that we made it.
if it is that much of a bargain why has no premiership club taken that risk? Gus has done well, but he still has lots to learn. He has had some decent support in terms of players.
you could just put gus on gardening leave, meaning although you will have to continue to meet the terms of his contract you can recruit to replace, but whilst on suspension any attempt to replace could leave you with a costly court case for pre judging the outcome. might even be a problem if you...
agree totally about the argus. stories about stoke, the fans wanting poyet at wigan and now reading, but not a word about the worrying goings on at the club, not even an editorial. are they concerned about future relations with the club?
I am not sure I get that. Poyet had a contract with agreed compensation levels and as far as I am aware still is bound by that contract as the club are. The club are under no obligation to just write off that compo whether he has been proven to have breeched his contract or not. I agree that...
I am getting concerned about next season. Wasn't June 20th the first signing last year and as it stands we do not have a manager in situ and that needs to change soon. Any longer than next week and I believe we will have done serious damage to the season.
Would like this to be true. We can all move on quickly and the club would get a circa 2m boast to the playing budget. Either way would like it to be done next week sometime.
Was no just after suspensions but now not sure due to time. Seems to me like a very long time to be dealing with disciplinary matters relating to key company employees, with delays which are potentially damaging to the organisation.
I would be happy to. Nice holiday in the sun with my mates, still getting paid for doing sod all and that shows no sign of changing soon. Why should he worry it is the club which has the problem. I have no issue wih gus taking a holiday alhough it does mean the saga will drag on for another week.
As regards the manager situation then no, but with it being subject to employment law then I doubt anyone would get answers to questions. If you mean the move to a more corporate organisation, I can understand it, the club was losing 8m per annum and I am not sure bloom would want to keep...
