Maybe be totally different here, but whenever we have scheduled a hearing we check holidays etc and give a date in writing a set number of days hence, usually seven, and ask the other party to confirm okay etc. How do we get to the stage that the meeting was set for today only to be changed at...
Either way I am pretty fed up with it whether the club have been unrealistic in trying for the meeting today or if gus is just stalling because he can.
Like you say if poyet was aware of this hearing in time and did not attend then it looks bad from his perspective. But the club are not without fault. I was onside originally with time and confidentiality but 4 plus weeks and no end in sight and the saga affecting next season plans as it must...
So 13 outfield players including harley, but no left back. It cant continue into next week, or we will struggle at the start if the season without doubt.
Agreed, if it were scheduled for today and gus has continued his holiday then it is very disappointing behaviour. I had hoped that it could be worked out and gus could continue as manager but seems unlikely now. I am becoming very worried about next season. Barber may say plans are continuing...
This is going to rumble on forever! If gus was scheduled to appear today and chose to continue his holiday the club could continue in his absence, although I doubt they will given the time already taken. Seriously you would assume both parties want it resolved, although it is more damaging to...
Needs to be resolved today. Get the feeling might be something in this, the argus have been talking about poyet in past tense for couple of days, not sure they would unless pretty sure. Either way squad is looking thin and needs work now.
I am becoming more confused by our management situation as each day passes. Following the initial suspensions it was clear that any investiagtion would take time and be confidential so the lack of news didn't worry me significantly. 4 weeks, however, is a long time for this not to be resolved...
so reading dave whelan's interview it seems unlikely it will be gus due to compo. Leaves swansea (possibly) and that is it I think. what now for the club and gus, this situation cant go on forever can it?
As others have said whether tanno stays will depend on the outcome of poyets hearing. I also dont think it necessarily means that the other outcomes are going to be a while. Each is independent and confidential of each other and the club has been careful to this point and I would guess that...
would be a decent outcome provided both parties are happy to put the last 3 weeks to one side. I always worry that you may just be papering over the cracks so to speak.
The budget may have been cut, we will never really know, but to suggest that you cant blame gus for losing the plot and maybe not focussing on the play off game, well I would if this were true. I would expect everyone to be fully focussed inspite of what may be happening behind the scenes. Hope...
