    [Politics] Electoral fraud

Yet again-the same extreme approach with language to boot. Instead of just listening, you automatically state that a moderate approach has failed, when common sense should tell you that if you carry folk with you, (as opposed to alienating them, when you get on tube trains, for example) you are...

    [Politics] Electoral fraud

All very reasonable, put like that. Just sit back, read all your posts and decide whether the language used reflects that of someone who is tolerant and moderate. Have you heard of the old adage: it is not what you say, it is how you say it, and in this respect, you tend to fall woefully short.

[Albion] Player Ratings Brighton - Leicester

Fully agree with your evaluation -spot on in my humble opinion.

Yes, I raised this with the staff at the polling station. There is NOTHING to stop me rocking up first thing, vote using my neighbour's address, watch to see if the staff have changed in the evening, and then going again to vote using my address. I don't even have to take the polling card with...

    [Politics] Electoral fraud

Of all the posters on here, you must contribute the least in the way of good sense, tolerance, moderation and fair play. I can only assume that you get a kick out of annoying people -very sad and somewhat deranged.

[News] Prince Andrew interviewed about allegations

[/B] How do you know that this is true?

[Football] Ajax U15s against Sparta Rotterdam U15s.

That is assuming he actually is under 15. When I was managing a youth team in Germany, it was common knowledge that some of the youngsters from immigrant families were overage, as parents had registered them as younger than they actually were to get more years of schooling.

You obviously don't see the contradiction here . .

[Football] There is ABSOLUTELY no point turning up for Saturday's game

Yes, I see your point, and there have been times when I have gone these last 2 seasons when we have played the top 6, and not really looked forward to it, expecting you know what. But at least GP's team shows some willingness to attack, and whilst I don't expect us to win, I am very hopeful for...

Exactly. They started by spending billions, and then found out they were broke. Ring any bells? it should do.

Is that really the best you can do?

If you say so, and can provide "proof" that is fine, though I don't believe he is any different to any other politician whose default position is also to lie. To an extent, I can sympathise with them, as every time they get something genuinely wrong they are pilloried by the press and asked to...

Ok -you are trying to steer a more objective line, but I would question how you know that everybody knows he is a serial liar, if indeed he is.

Does that really strike you as a sensible reply?

How very reassuring; whatever you might think of Boris, think also of Venezuala.

[/B] Yet in an earlier post you explicitly stated that you were trying to be as objective as possible about the debate!

    [Albion] Lewis Hammans

I too have suffered similar loss and know what you are going through. Whilst I cannot offer you anything much other than condolences at this awful time, I can assure you that, whilst it seems hard to believe, time will help and you will come to terms with your tragic loss. You won't get over it...

It is pure cynicism on their part - they hope for grubby votes this way. Whilst I have encountered some very erudite and thinking 16 year olds over the years, most would not be able to offer a sensible contribution to complex problems facing society.

Since you clearly want to abide by the rules, then you are of course consistent, aren't you? You are happy to accept that others' views must be the truth, above, so of course you also believe that Corbyn must be a communist and extremist, and an anti-Semite, of which he has been accused by...

But they will certainly try! If only you could have seen and experienced East Germany.
