Was surprised to read on Twitter today some people criticising HTC for being boring in their lead-out train. What are they supposed to do? Pull wheelies for the last 500m?
Apparently not...
Jérémy Roy: “I didn’t care about the polka-dot jersey, I wanted the win”
I've really enjoyed the way FDJ have cycled in this year's Tour and would have loved to see them get a stage win.
Which leads me to another topic. Has anyone else found themselves almost totally...
Shit - Geraint is having problems. Twice within a few hundred yards his back wheel has locked up and has sent him off the road. No harm done, but it's going to screw with his descent. Nightmare.

I don't know the statistics, but it certainly seems like a hell of a lot compared with previous years.
I wonder what this will mean for the mountain stages - will we get the fearless descents we usually see in the Alps and Pyrenees, or will the riders in general be a little more careful...
Mr Black & White Seagull (AKA Horton's Halftime Iceberg) and I were on the Tourmalet last year when Kolobnev ditched his gilet right in front of us. My gallant husband hurled himself into the road (fortunately there were no France TV cars in the vicinity) to retrieve it. It's easily our best...
More proof, if proof were needed, that cyclists are hard, hard b*stards.
Johnny Hoogerland is my new hero. To finish the stage and then be so noble when interviewed and not blame anyone for the incident - definitely close to Tour legend status for me.
Jesus Christ, what kind of nightmare is this?! Hoogerland seems worse off, despite Flecha having been the one hit by the car. Reckon the driver is on his way home already...
