Five months ago, I could barely run for the bus. I'm not particularly overweight, but I was unfit. So my husband and I started the NHS Couch-to-5k plan. I really can't recommend this programme highly enough. It starts you off really slowly but by the end of nine weeks you'll be running non-stop...
Greyhound Rescue Fife desperately needs your votes. It has entered the RBS CommunityForce initiative in order to secure the funds necessary to lay water pipes to its kennels. Last winter, its water supply froze, and the volunteers who run the kennels had to carry all water from a nearby stables...
Great post. One of my closest friends is a Palace fan, and other than one (slightly smug - understandably) text message last night, he's completely left me to my pain today. I can 100 per cent guarantee that I wouldn't be behaving quite so nobly today if the result had been the other way around.

Naylor has followed up initial tweet with this:
Told you my cup was half full! Was interest in him from the Middle East, Torino and Celtic b4 he arrived, then another English club.
Brighton & Hove Albion is where it is today because of us fans. We wrote letters, went on marches, paid to sit behind a running track in the pouring rain precisely so the club could realise its potential. I've never felt *more* a part of the club than I do now, because I helped make it happen.
