I would hope getting this thrashed out has been instrumental in the delay. We'd be mugs to take him on loan with a view to buy in January if it's gonna be a free for all for his signature. Gus and TB are obviously not mugs. I'm expecting that we have 1st dibs in January at a pre-arranged price if he proves to be 100% fit.

We just need a championship quality defender still and i think we can definitely hold our own then and look the part, would love to see a strong defensive signing come in this week (the daggers guy looks ok but hes not championship quality for definite) and then ill stop worrying about the prospect of being very attacking and great going forward but a bit vulnerable at the back, especially with our centurion el abd missing.

Lualua is a great signing, just hope he can stay fit and the opposition dont just chop him all the time, though thats probably all they can do cos they wont catch him!

So back to the will he/won't he in January. I'd love to know the combined total time that Gus and Tony have spent trying to sign/been in negotiation with KLL over the past three seasons. You have to wonder if it's longer than the total amount of time he's been in the squaud and fit?!?

Eagerly looking forward to at some point in the season getting a ticket and actually attending a game. The way the transfers seem to have gone every game is going to be like the Carlisle one next season - remember it is all going to be alright as long as we always score one more goal than we let in and don't rely on goal difference for anything.

There were many who doubted I'm sure, but the smug "get over it, it 'aint happening" crew have gone very quiet.

I think our defence will do better than some give it credit currently. Another CB would be handy though.
