For me, what stands out is the performances of the lesser-sung members of the squad. If Lewis Dunk had played as well as Dan Burn tonight, we'd be demanding an England call-up. If Adam Lallana had played like Steven Alzate tonight, connecting play all over the place, we'd be marveling at his...
I was thinking this throughout the game. However I also spent long periods of time seriously considering whether Dan Burn is now better than Lewis Dunk. I can't say I came up with a definitive answer.
'new' cultural hotspot? Blimey, that place has been at the forefront of our cultural zeitgeist for decades.
Lived there for four years in the 90s, absolutely loved that city, easily the most vibrant place I've lived in
There are twice as many tickets available than normal. As a myAlbion+ member I have never got close to being able to get a ticket for a Brighton premier league game in London, but I've got one for Spurs in the Cup. So I think he was right. Obviously the take up being even higher than expected...
I was astonished how few tickets were available when I bought my albion+ ticket this morning. There was so much complaining on here, on twitter and the like about the kick off time and how people 'were going to have to watch on TV instead' that I assumed the attendance would be way down.

Its a fair point. I mean, putting aside the lockdown restrictions and all that, it is a phenomenal number of parties and 'work-events' involving booze in one workplace, let alone the workplace thats supposed to be, you know, running the country, keeping us all safe and secure and the like.
Just...
Rather disappointed he won't get an avalanche of boos on court now.
He was also rather marvellously drawn against a fellow Serb, which would have led to the anti-Serb narrative taking a beating with his opponent being hugely supported by the voracious crowd. Ah well.
Less of the 'we' please.... :p
Have to say its the first time I've ever seen a club like Juve interested in our player, its exciting even if its bollox
No one yet posting about Juventus' apparent interest in our Neal?

You see the problem here though don't you? They are either both right, in which case Sky reported the truth, against your belief, or they're both wrong, in which case the broadsheet reported a baseless rumour, against your belief.
Wise move because he is putting some distance between himself and the PM, or wise move because he was at the party in the garden next door to his and doesn't want to face the music?
I really have little time for Burton's concerns, considering that they have variously been called Burton Town, Burton Swifts, Burton Wanderers, Burton All Saints and Burton United before finally settling on Burton Albion. I don't think they can get to choose all the suffixes at one time or...
Absolutely. And there's more clubs that will be able to compete over signing on fees. Clubs like City and United can pay a big transfer fee AND a big signing on fee, but with the transfer fee out of the way there can be a lot more clubs involved. And like I say, for many going to a Madrid or a...
But its true of them, of Newcastle, of Leeds, of West Ham - they believe they belong at the top, to be challenging with the huge clubs - so they spend, spend, spend to try and keep up - but they can't. It inevitably ****s up, they get relegated - but because of who they are, their names and...
