Given NSC's normal inability to agree on anything the negative feeling from all on this thread indicates that Mowbray would be a somewhat unpopular choice!
We are only an injury or suspension away from problems in that area as shown at Derby so we need someone in. Whether it is 2 will depend on the progress of Maksimenko. As for Dunk it is up to him to grab a first team chance during pre-season.
Not forgetting we currently have no right backs under contract until either Bruno or Calde re-sign, if indeed they do. It is early but there is no denying that we have a huge rebuilding job to be as competitive as the previous 2 seasons and the sooner this starts the better. Whilst not panicking...
Uninspiring safety first choice. You may have been bored under oscar, wait till next season
Always hoped that we would be a club that didn't join that usual suspects merry go round.
looks like a decent signing in an area that needed strengthening. Add a creative type and that area is sorted. Next for the key signing, the manager, this week would be good
Cant see him getting into the United side next year with the signings that are likely to be made, so a loan is possible. I would welcome him back on a season long loan.
the word 'experienced' seems to be getting banded around a lot whenever the possible new manager is discussed. From our history you could say that the two most successful managers had little or no previous management experience (Mullery and Poyet). Surely it is about the best candidate which...
So if this is true we have Ince, Crofts, Stephens, JFC, Agustien and the new guy pushing for midfield places. Another creative player and we are probably sorted in that area.
Not sure the perceived lack of moral support was the reason for relegation. Norwich spent big in relative terms over the summer on strikers and yet they were unable to score the goals needed to survive and that in part is due to the way he sets out his teams. But you are right he did not and...
Had some inside knowledge has regards Hughton being friendly with a close relative of a current Norwich player. According to him if you are looking for attacking free flowing football then Hughton is not the man. He is in the not lose first club, although perhaps this was because of the club he...
Know a little about Houghton being friendly with a relative of a current Norwich player. Not the person to turn to if you want free flowing attacking football. Viewed by the players as a negative thinking coach looking not to lose first, although this could be a result of the expectations of the...
Agree totally. We are in the hands of Burke here and his January performance does not fill me with confidence that we will find an adequate replacements or that these replacements will even be here by the time pre-season starts.
I guess being okay with this depends on the rationale behind it. If we can get the same quality at a lower cost than fine, but with this and Orlandi going are we in fact seeing the first of some drastic cut backs?
Injury prone but undoubted ability. Will leave us needing to recruit the creative midfield player. March is capable but young and inconsistent and Agustien, well the least said.
Agreed. For both mangers to appear to have the same issue (although I never liked the way Gus was so public about it) points at something deeper in the set up. I would suggest although last summer was damaging due the Gus-gate this has the potential for being worse when you consider that the...
