Bowel cancer is apparently sorted, but kidney failure and dialysis 5 times a week means work will realistically have to be something I can do from home. I don't know what that will be yet, but I need to start thinking about it soon.

Ipswich Will Be A Telling Game - Notes for Brighton

Of course, but a win tomorrow and things could feel rather promising. As I said, it's NOT a barometer for the season that some might think it could be.

Bobby Zamora is in the squad for Ipswich...

I never wanted him back, but now he is, I want him playing. Hope he gets some minutes tomorrow.

Kojaks on at 5, a series ahead of its' time. I try not to have it on too much, but I'm recovering from cancer and major surgery and been told to take it easy.

Very sorry for your loss, I did fear that name would be confirmed given the circumstances.

Brighton and Palace. Hard to explain...

Agree, I really dislike the word being used in a sporting context, it's such an extreme emotion, it has no place in sport.

I feel a transfer record coming on.....

Any idea how far BZ is from fitness ? I didn't want him back, but as he is, I want him to play.

Ipswich Will Be A Telling Game - Notes for Brighton

I don't really think this is a barometer for our season. Looks like IT will be there or thereabouts this season, so a loss for us would not be the end of the world, but any points from it will be a bonus. We do seem to be pretty solid in defence, so a point would not be surprising. Will be...

    Shoreham Air show crash

There was just one van when I went today, and they weren't filming, just sitting in the van. Most have lost interest now we're not the top story, other things to go to.

Have just been along to the bridge to lay my flowers and it's an impressive effort by everyone. A lot of people there paying their respects, I thought there would be some, but there were probably hundreds.

    Shoreham Air show crash

I'm heading up to the bridge shortly to lay my flowers. It's only a few hundred yards for me, but I've not been there yet. Difficult to say how I'm going to feel.

Sainsbury's to raise pay by 4%

I don't think he does call it that, minimum wage and living wage are two different terms, nobody equates them.

Shoreham air crash- a firefighter's harrowing story in the Argus

Ah, I see your problem, you have used the word "think" - trouble is, those people don't, or can't.

We were never going to win the league cup.... Blessing in disguise...

I wanted a win partly as I fear a loss next Sat and didn't want two losses in a row. I did feel whatever side we put out ought to be enough to get over the line. As it is, a money-tie against Chelsea would have been good.

    BT Sport

My bill this month was over £16, but I'm with Sky and that was the only BT service I had. Not worth it for me.

    BT Sport

I cancelled BT sport last week, I noticed my bill had gone up and on balance it was no longer worth it for what the currently show. When it was a tenner, it wasn't too bad but it is now nearly double that so I binned it. They don't make it easy for you to cancel, you can't do it online in any...

    Shoreham Air show crash

I shall be walking along to the bridge, probably tomorrow, depending on the weather. Tried to buy some flowers in Shoreham today but there were none.

Far too soon, we don't even know most of those who perished yet.

    English, Maths or Science?

I found maths very easy, so I guess I enjoyed it cos I could do it. English just sort of went into my head and stayed. Loved science, though not sure how good I was at it at the time, still love it and take a big interest in all things scientific these days.
