I stayed for a week in Beckley once, although I didn't go to the pub during that time. It is very nice around there, and there is the novelty value of having a large supermarket that you've never heard of in a village (Jempson's in Peasmarsh), although the prices were not as keen as Morrisons'...
Well, I imagine it's possible they are really nice people and do a lot of excellent work for others and make a lot of children very happy at primary school discos, but the freedom to despise them is your absolute right in a free society - and, to a large extent, they've brought it upon...
I'll take your word for it, but they're always too greasy and the flavourings don't work. If I were to be more specific, I would say that home-made Monster Munch, Skips and Wotsits are not worth trying. Cornflakes as well.
Terence Trent D'Arby, Anastacia, anyone from a death metal band, bloke from Fields of the Nephilim, lead singer of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Kermit, Miss Piggy.
Whatever this has done to Jeremy Clarkson's life is nothing to what it has done to the producer's life - it seems he has been physically attacked, verbally belittled, has chosen not to make a complaint, yet still has been subject to death threats, been plastered all over the newspapers, has to...
My grandchildren will be seeing my signed photo of Vicente - did he REALLY play for the Albion, grandad, and did we REALLY not offer him a new contract??
Thanks - I'm amazed. In the 1970s, one of them had a fancy slide on the till that your change came down in. Great times. My gran worked at the Key Market. Used to enjoy walking along the perimeter of the ornamental ponds outside. Don't suppose those are still there too?
You're right - that is a good one. I came out almost on top of the Green Party position. It's interesting that there is no right wing libertarian party in this country. It's an odd feeling answering some of those questions - you laugh at some of the statements, wondering how on earth anyone...
Another 9 here. Not much depth in those questions, but makes it nice and quick, I suppose. Very interesting how quickly the central viewpoint changes - and that it changes so much, ie that people don't form an entrenched position, but change their opinions as the situation and society changes.
Also, if anyone has time to devote to the subject, there's this massive collection - http://specialcollections.le.ac.uk/cdm/search/collection/p16445coll4/searchterm/Sussex/field/place/mode/exact/conn/and/order/nosort
but it's not easy for casual browsing - better if you're after something...
It would be good. My second and third addresses are not included, my fourth is brief and my fifth is even briefer. Thehistoryman's encyclopaedia is also excellent, of course!
